Having stayed at Martin lane farm for a number of years now, it was great as per normal.

Always stay here for the Airshow weekend. Close to the train station with plenty of pubs near by for food.

Fabulous quiet location

Lovely well equipped cottage, in a very quiet area. We went with friends who stayed in one of the other cottages. Close to the town of Ormskirk so everything nearby that you need.

We were there for 4 days visiting Liverpool, the coast and some National Trust properties. The cottage was very warm, comfortable and a great position to get to everything.

Another pleasant Stay

We have stayed at the cottages quite a few times, the first time being about 11years ago and each year for the past 6 years so always been happy. It’s a central location for doing sightseeing in the SW Lancashire area

Very nice cottage

Nice short break in the this lovely well equipped cottage. Sue, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Its location was good for us as we had booked a day at Haydock Races. The Martin Mere Wildlife Centre was only 10 minutes away and is a fabulous place to visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with no complaints.

The cottage was the perfect size for 2 people and had all the facilities needed to easily cook and live day-to-day for a week-long stay. The location was very scenic and peaceful - the walk by the canal to the Farmer's Arms was a particular highlight. The house was really well resourced and made it easy to settle in of an evening.

Clean and well-equipped house with beautiful gardens

Phil and Sue were extremely friendly and great hosts. The location of the property is in the middle of the countryside and close to the canal. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to come.
