Annual visit.
We find this an ideal location to stay when visiting family in the area. This is our 7th stay at the farm cottages.

A great base for visiting the area
We were there for 4 days visiting Liverpool, the coast and some National Trust properties. The cottage was very warm, comfortable and a great position to get to everything.

Couldn't have asked for more
Spent 2 nights in The Shippon cottage. It was warm and cosy and had everything we could have possibly needed. There was a little carton of milk provided in the fridge which was great after a long journey we could have a cup of tea straight away! There was a more relaxed check out time allowed to us by the owners too which was welcomed unlike other places where you have to be out at the exact stroke of 10am.

fantastic location, accommodation and service
We stayed 2 nights to visit family and friends.Beautifully presented, great little cottage with everything you need. Owners very friendly, sharing information on the property and area. Very welcoming to children. Our 6 and 4 yr olds loved it. Petting the sheep and pony and seeing the goose. Plenty of space for the kids to have a run around after a long car journey.

Peaceful. Clean cottage which was well equipped, with lovely super king bed. Phil the owner greeted us on arrival and had a lovely chat with him when we left.
