Perfect for a couple

Perfect accommodation in the Dairy for just one couple, lovely kitchen and bedroom opening out onto pretty gardens. We really enjoyed relaxing here and walking along the canals and eating at the local pubs. Warm welcome on arrival and some nice touches. Nice quiet place to return to after a rowdy wedding and super comfy bed!

Lovely Cottages!

We stayed at ‘The Dairy’ as a group booking with the other Martin Lane Cottages, this was used for the Bridal Party for a local Wedding. The cottages themselves are a little secluded, however easy enough to locate, and additionally gave us our own privacy. They were perfect for our booking and very reasonably priced. We were more than accommodated for, and I would highly recommend.

Cosy cottage in idyllic setting

My partner and I stayed in The Dairy for a week, while other members of my family stayed in some of the other properties on the farm. It was a truly lovely setting - very rural, but with amenities within close reach, including the fantastic The Farm shop and cafe. The property itself was small but perfectly formed, with a main room including a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. It was perfect for our needs.

Close to WWT Martin Mere. Great for birdwatchers!!

This small, clean and comfortable little cottage was perfect for what we wanted. We planned to visit Martin Mere - which was about 8 mins drive from the property. Tea & coffee was available but we would have appreciated a little drop of milk so we could make a drink on arrival (would have been happy with UHT milk pots!)I thought I had messaged the owner, via Vrbo with an arrival time, but he was not expecting us when we did get there, though there was no problem getting in. I did think that Vrbo's methods of messaging the owners was not as clear as other accommodation websites. We would have also liked some local information about shops, where to eat etc.

Enjoyable time

The cottage was very cosy and warm. The shower though went hot and cold, probably due to it being electric.

Country Cottage to beat all others

Comfortable, well equiped and spotlessly clean. Able to get out to various locations with ease. Being able to sit in the garden was an added bonus.
