Abreu Villa A Beautiful House With Pool, WIFI and A Wonderful Ocean View

Our 3 bedroom luxury villa is situated in a quiet village in Arco da Calheta.
There is a king size bed end suite bedroom (with bath and shower), a double room, a twin room and a further bathroom with a shower. All bedrooms have their private balconies with beautiful views of the sea and mountains.
A large living/dining room. Also have a pool and sea view, a satellite TV, DVD player and Wifi internet.
A fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, American fridge, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also a downstairs toilet.

We have a large garden and terrace with table and chairs where you can dine al fresco and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean, a large car parking space and a private swimming pool with 6 sun bed loungers, a toilet and shower room by the pool.

Next to the pool we have a barbeque area with the essential utensils. So you can prepare the food and serve yourself abroad, enjoying the view of the sea.

This is a cosy home that meets all our customer’s needs. It has a mixture of traditional and modern aspects. Only 5 minutes drive from the sandy beach of Calheta, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafés. Its location allows you to be very close to the Levada Walks and its only 30 minutes drive from Funchal and 50 minutes from the Airport.

Great holiday villa!

We all had a wonderful time in this villa. Very spacious and clean. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the quiet location was very much appreciated. There was easy access to good food and plenty of coffee shops for a bica. The host was also exceptional, thank you Susy!

The villa is absolutely amazing with stunning views

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Luxurious furniture comfy bed and stunning views. Great communication and the property manager went out of her way to accommodate all out needs. Location is great with safe neighborhood. We didn't get to use the pool but will return during the summer hopefully to make the most of it. Thank you

Nice house

Our stay at the house was amazing, beautiful view, good weather and very peaceful. However you need a car to be able to buy groceries or to go to the beach, without it, you will get stuck because there is no much around there. Other than that its great.

Great villa with amazing views

A wonderful villa with amazing views in a quiet location. We've just returned after a lovely relaxing week and would definately recommend this property to friends and family. Communication with Susy was top notch and all queries were answered without delay. You definately need a car though as there is not much close by but there us a good choice of restaurants at the marina which is a short drive away. Thank you for a lovely week.

An amazing villa

We're a family of 5 (with 3 kids aged 11-17) and have just come back from a relaxing fortnight at Abreu Villa. The property is lovely - spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and with breathtaking views over the hills and coast of Calhetta. You're in the perfect location for the stunning sunsets each evening. There's also an impressive poolside barbecue area if you fancy eating outside. Susy (along with Odete & Elivio) were really helpful. Within the first few days, they came to clean the swimming pool and check everything was OK. After our first week, they cleaned the entire house & pool area again (as well as changing bed sheets, etc) ready for our 2nd week. They were friendly, welcoming and the level of service & cleanliness was impressive. It's about an hour from the airport so hiring a car is a must, particularly given the steep hills of Madeira! Also, there isn't much within easy walking distance, so it's worth having a vehicle to get out and about. The area is lovely - with Calhetta beach (one of only 2 sandy beaches on the island) just 10 minutes drive away, as well as other attractions such as the glass viewing platform at Cabo Girao, Funchal (the capital), 25 Fontes Falls and other attractions all within less than an hour's drive. There's 2 supermarkets in the area as well as numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. We were there in mid-August and most days were hot and sunny (around 25 to 30 degrees) although the weather is very localised so even if it clouds over, it could be clear down on the coast! This is one of the nicest villas I've ever stayed in, in a truly stunning location. Highly recommended.

Die Villa liegt sehr ruhig in Arco de Calheta mit tollem Ausblick über Arco de Calheta auf das Meer. Wir hatten wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Das Haus ist nicht mehr ganz neu aber gut Ausgestattet und die Zimmer sind sehr gut aufgeteilt. Ein sehr gemütlicher Wohnbereich mit sehr viel Deko. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und mit ausreichend, wenn auch nicht einheitliches Geschirr ist vorhanden. Der Poolbereich sollte renoviert werden und die Liegen sollten erneuert werden. Preisleistung für 4 Personen ist ok.

Really homely villa

Susy was really helpful throughout the visit. The villa has stunning views and was beautifully furnished. The kitchen was equipped better than any villa we have stayed in before. Would definitely stay there again. Minor gripes, air conditioning would be a benefit though the advert does not suggest it is installed. Pool is not heated and needs to be by late September to allow more than occasional use and the pool liner needs replacing.

Das Haus entspricht den Angaben. Es ist gross mit allem was man braucht. Es wurde in der Mitte des Urlaubs gereinigt und sowohl Bettwäsche als auch Frottewäsche wurde ausgewechselt. Die Lage ist sehr gut mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Einzig der Pool hatte ein technisches Problem wodurch das Wasser trübe war. Man hat sich zwar darum gekümmert, aber es konnte trotzdem nicht vollständig behoben werden bis zum Ende unseres Urlaubs. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Haus nicht sehr sauber ,Baustelle zehn Meter nebenan. Wollten nach 6 Tagen abreisen.

Lautes Hämmern ,Steine schneiden mit der Trennscheibe,Bohren volles Programm jeden Tag um 8Uhr wach. Zwei nicht fertiggestellte Baustellen .Auf den Buchungsbildern nichts davon zu sehen .Bilder voll nicht aktuell .Hätten wir nen Flug bekommen wären wir abgehauen .So mussten wir das 12 Tage aushalten keine Kontaktaufnahme mit Vermiter möglich . Dafür haben wir ein Jahr gespart.Nie wieder Madeira.

Wir entschuldigen uns für etwaige Unannehmlichkeiten. Wir sind stets bemüht, den bestmöglichen Komfort bei maximaler Offenheit im Dialog mit den Kunden zu gewährleisten. Es gibt jedoch Situationen, die wir nicht kontrollieren können. Der Bau von Häusern ist in allen Teilen der Welt weit verbreitet. In diesem Fall befand sich ein Bau in der Nachbarschaft und die Arbeiten waren fast abgeschlossen. Es gab nur Abschlussarbeiten, daher war der Lärm bereits recht gering. Wir finden die Beschreibung sehr übertrieben, und der Beweis ist, dass wir oft Gäste hatten, die uns eine hervorragende Note gaben und sich nicht über außergewöhnliche Geräusche beschwerten, wie es heißt. Außerdem waren die Arbeitnehmer nur innerhalb der Arbeitszeit anwesend. Ich betone, dass die Privatsphäre des Hauses immer gewährleistet war. Das Ideal für alle wäre natürlich, dass es keine Arbeiten in der Nähe gibt, aber wir könnten diese Situation nicht vermeiden. Für die 12 Tage des Aufenthalts machen wir zweimal die Reinigung des Hauses. Wir waren in den Räumlichkeiten, wir sprachen offen und ignorierten nie eine Informationsanfrage. Deshalb verstehe ich nicht, was Sie als mangelnden Kontakt mit uns ansehen. Vielen Dank für Ihren Kontakt und Ihre Vorschläge. Wir entschuldigen uns für etwaige Unzufriedenheit.

tolles Haus in top Lage

sehr geräumiges Haus in einer tollen Lage. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Top Wlan und Internet TV, problemlose Schlüsselübergabe auch noch um Mitternacht. Zum auschecken sollten wir den Schlüssel einfach in den Briedfkasten werfen. Für unsere deutschen Verhältnisse war die Sauberkeit von Küche und Badezimmer bei der Übergabe nicht zufriedenstellend. Wir hatten dennoch einen schönen Aufenthalt.

We had a very exceptional holiday and Villa Abreu was a great choice, would certainly come back and recommend to friends. Perfectly located in a quiet village but close to all you must visit - levadas, mountains, Funchal and seaside villages. Vila very specious and has everything you can dream of. Pool very clean and water warmer than expected. Barbecue area just great. Susy is a very helpful host. Great value for money. Can’t wait to come back to Madeira and Villa Abreu. Thank you Susy!

Der Urlaub war wunderschön. Das Haus ist ein Traum. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Super!!!!

Die Villa ist super sauber und sehr gepflegt. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Wir wurden am ersten Tag sehr freundlich empfangen und es wurde uns alles gezeigt und uns erklärt wo wir einen Supermarkt finden. Wir können die Villa nur weiter empfehlen. Sehr sehr schön!!!

Wir waren im Juni 2018 für eine Woche in dieser Villa zu Gast. Die Bilder trügen nicht, eine sehr schöne und moderne Villa am Hang von Arco da Calheta mit einem fantastische Blick auf das Meer, die Berge und den Ort. Die touristischen Highlights sowie etliche Wanderwege sind problemlos mit dem Auto erreichbar, ebenso Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Calheta. Netter Kontakt mit der Verwalterin, reibungslose Abwicklung. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Breathtaking views

We just came back from week stay in the Abreu Villa. The villa was well equipped and had everything you could imagine. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely . Whole house was magnificent, clean, spacious. We particularly enjoyed the outside space and pool. We have arrived earlier than originally planned but Susy was great and arranged someone to bring the keys within 5 minutes. We also met neighbours and some local people. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Arco Da Caletha is really nicely located only short drive from all “must see” locations. We would definitely book the villa again.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage, tolle Einrichtung und absolut freundliche und hilfsbereite Hausverwalterin.

Das Haus liegt wunderbar knapp oberhalb des Ortskerns von Arco da Calheta mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Als wir ankamen wurden wir von Susy Lobato herzlich begrüßt und sie zeigte uns das ganze Haus. Schon der erste Eindruck war überragend. Das war bisher das schönste und beste Haus, das wir bisher gemietet haben. Allein die Bilder sprechen für sich. Da ist nichts geschönt, es ist alles so, wie auf den Bildern ersichtlich. Die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht eingerichtet. Der Kühlschrank mit Eis und Wasserspender ist direkt an der Wasserleitung angeschlossen, so dass man immer Eis und kaltes Wasser zur Verfügung hat. Nach einer Woche wurde das Haus und der Pool gereinigt, neue Bettwäsche bezogen und frische Handtücher bereitgelegt. Den Kaffee haben wir von Hand aufgebrüht, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Wasserkocher und Filtereinsatz sind vorhanden. Der Grill auf der Poolebene ist genial. Direkt nebendran ist ein Wasserhahn mit heissem Wasser. So kann man den Grillrost einfach und effektiv reinigen. Eine Steinsitzgruppe für ca. 6 Personen steht gleich in der Nähe. Alles in Allem ein super Haus, was wirklich zu empfehlen ist. Vielen Dank nochmal an Susy, die uns so freundlich betreut hat.

Sur l'annonce il est mentionné 4 salles de bain en réalité la maison est composée de deux salles de bain,à l'étage,d'un wc+lavabo au rdc et d'une douche wc au niveau de la piscine,pas pratique au début du printemps. Très bon acceuil,super sympa.
