Excellent, we would love to come back!

We stayed for 4 nights, for some sightseeing and relaxing time in the Salisbury area. From the cottage we had easy access to both Stonehenge and Salisbury and we also enjoyed just taking it easy, socializing, playing games and watching tv.

We joined our daughters, who live in Surrey, for a lovely get together weekend, both for my birthday and to start Christmas shopping.

Don't hesistate to book your stay here

We loved everything! The cottage was comfortable and everything you might need was there. All rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. We could stay here for weeks. It felt like "home away from home". Location is great in this quiet little village, which could have been a location for "Midsomer Murder" (except the murder of course) We had dinner opposite the cottage in the Wheatsheaf Inn. Again a wonderful place, great dinner and friendly staff. What else could we wish for? Nothing.

Perfect. And the walking in the area is wonderful.

We were delighted with the warmth and comfort. We love the location. We love the attention to detail. Even a Christmas tree. I couldn't find the toast rack.

Relaxing stay in cosy cottage surrounded by lovely countryside

The cottage was a very relaxing space for us to unwind. We enjoyed eating at the wheat sheaf pub and appreciated the free bottle of wine voucher. It was a great base in the countryside for us to explore Salisbury, Stonehenge and other attractions. We appreciated the lovely breakfast and attention to detail throughout, and the owners were very kind and welcoming.

Perfection! Couldn't have asked for more.

Our visit was perfect from start to finish. All our needs were met and our expectations exceeded. The cottage is luxurious, cosy and everything we could have wanted was provided for. We'd give it more than 10 our of 10 if we could.

Absolutely Fabulous accommodation with every need anticipated and catered for

Our stay at Stonehenge cottages was delightful. Our suite was well set up - it was obvious that a lot of thought had gone into what a visitor would require as we found we were wanting for nothing. Charger cables, great sound systems, exceedingly generous breakfast offering, generous rooms with great fittings and finishes. Very very comfortable.

What a wonderful cottage!

My husband and I required a place to stay near Stonehenge as we were traveling from London to Southampton. What we found after a long day was this delightful cottage beautifully decorated with a well stocked refrigerator. The drive through the countryside was breathtaking! The cottage and grounds were clean and quiet. The pub across the road served great food but were out of their Sunday special by the time we got there so make sure to reserve in advance for this delicious dinner.

Amazed and delighted

We arrived and immediately our first impressions exceeded expectations. Spacious, in fact very spacious, equipped to an excellent standard and delightfully furnished. Location, just perfect being very picturesque with walks straight from the property. Breakfast was in the fridge, is well thought out and tasty too. Immediately relaxed, unpacked and strolled all of 20 metres to the excellent pub across the quiet road and enjoyed an excellent meal. First drink is free! Can highly recommend

40th Birthday Weekend Getaway

As part of my brother's 40th birthday celebrations we booked a 2 night stay so that we could explore Stonehenge, Salisbury, Salisbury Cathedral and the surrounding area. We used the cottage as a base more than anything and had a pleasant stay. We visited the Wheatsheaf pub opposite for meals twice during our stay and would highly recommend. A short distance to The Bridge Inn pub where you can sit by the River Avon and feed the ducks.
