Enjoyable

We came to climb Munros, and managed five in three days out, which was good for us. We were lucky to have good weather, only one summit was covered in mist - the others gave us clear views of the district. We also visited the Linns of Dee and Quioch and climbed the local mountain, Morrone.

Astoundingly well set-up cabins in a brilliant location, with easy access and a hearty welcome.

The term 'log cabins' might imply primitive conditions, but Braemar Lodge Cabins are quite the reverse! Spacious and spotless, with excellent kitchen facilities, comfy sofas and heaters in every room. Outside, several mature conifers in the lawn area match the magnificent Cairngorm scenery. There's plenty play equipment lying free to use, from croquet to swingball, plus a range of outside tables and chairs enhance the harmonious experience. And only a few minutes walk to the village shops...

This cabin was one of my family's favorite places that we stayed during our 2 week trip.

We are a family of 4. The cabin was cute and spacious with separate bedrooms for each of the kids. We also enjoyed the lawn games like badminton and spin ball.

It was fantastic!

The cabin was spacious and quiet, and fully stocked with enough kitchen tools to make home cooked meals and coffee. The staff were lovely. My daughter loved the play area. The location is a short walk from all the restaurants and pubs

Lodge fulfilled my fantasies of log cabins, very warm and comfortable with everything we needed

Braemar is always lovely but it was buzzing with the book festival. lots of interesting conversations and people watching. Enjoyed our meals at the Flying Stag and the Kings Larder and exploring the village. The lodge was perfect (I'd like to live in it permanently, so easy) 6 of our friends were also up and we all fitted round the table comfortably. They loved it and spoke of each hiring one next year. Malcolm, Charlie and the team were so helpful and accommodating. Thank you all so much
