An absolute delight

Swallow Cottage was perfect for our needs. The property is small but has everything you could need for a restful and relaxing stay in your home-from-home. The location is ideal for access to major routes allowing you to explore the beautiful Cornish countryside. Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful Little Cottage

Lovely little cottage, everything you need. All on one level, which was ideal as one of our party can struggle with stairs at times. Bed was really comfortable, everywhere was clean & arriving to a cream tea was a really lovely touch! As well as delicious! Nothing comes to mind to be honest.

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage over Easter. This place is beautiful and very clean. It has everything we needed. It was very easy to find, the instructions are great. The owners are soo lovely and welcoming. On arrival lovely homemade scones with jam and cream. Sooo tasty. This cottage is dog friendly. Beds are so comfortable and the village so piecefull. We would recommend this place 100%. We have visited Charlestown, Looe, Fowey and Truro. We definitely will be back. We loved the area and the garden nice to sit out and listen to the birds. Nothing

When our hostess arrived with a fresh sprig of rosemary for our 'yay, we arrived' gin and tonic, we knew we'd have a nice time.

Een heerlijke cottage bij lieve eigenaren

Wat een fijn verblijf was dit ! Hele vriendelijke eigenaren, een ruime en gezellige cottage, een heerlijk bed en zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. Het verblijf is ons prima bevallen, maar als we iets moeten noemen wat beter zou kunnen dan is dat een wat ruimere badkamer en lekkere stoelen in de tuin.

prachtige cottage, ontvangst allerhartelijkst met Cream tea. Goede uitvalsbasis om de west kust te verkennen. om de hoek een fijne Inn waar je betaalbaar kunt eten. eigenaren doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. echt een grote aanrader dit verblijf. niet van toepassing

Scones zur Begrüßung

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, das Cottage zu finden, wurden wir mit frischen, selbst gebackenen Scone, Marmelade und Cornish clotted Cream begrüßt. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Hauptraum besteht aus der super ausgestatteten Küche, einem Esstisch sowie einem Sofa mit TV. Daran angrenzend liegt das Schlafzimmer mit großem Bett. Außerdem ist ein kleines Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Im Bad sind neben dem WC, Dusche und Waschbecken auch eine Waschmaschine vorhanden. Der Garten konnte mitbenutzt werden. Fußläufig liegt ein echt schöner Pub mit guter Küche. Unsere Ausflugstipps: Portloe, Trewithin Garden, Carne Beach. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Swallow Cottage.

Lovely owners, a beautiful cottage in a great location.

Steve and Sue were excellent, friendly hosts who really couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was roomier than expected and well equipped. Couldn't have asked for more.
