About this property
Twitchers Cottage, Titchwell, Norfolk
Stylishly furnished throughout, Twitchers Cottage boasts stunning views of the Titchwell coastline, always a very popular spot for birdwatchers. For chillier winter evenings there is a wood burning stove to cosy up in front of, and on long summer days a delightful patio garden provides peaceful panoramic views over the fields and marshes towards the sea.
This pretty coastal cottage, built in 1897, is open-plan on the ground floor and has a well-equipped kitchen with integrated appliances - ideal for getting creative with local produce sold all around here. From the sitting room there's a large telescope so you can watch the wildlife from the patio doors. With two king-size bedrooms and a twin bedroom it is comfortable and well-furnished to guarantee a good nights sleep after all that fresh sea air. There are two shower rooms and a utility room, so handy for everyone.
Set over three floors the elevated views gives spectacular views across the fields to the surrounding countryside and coast. You may be lucky enough to see deer grazing, and you're almost guaranteed to see and hear the vast skeins of geese flying over during the autumn and winter - a sight to make you smile for sure.
With a cosy wood burning stove, lovely Nespresso coffee machine and a telescope for guest's use, you hardly have to leave the property to enjoy the surrounding area. But when you want to venture out you are spoilt for choice of beaches, walks, eateries and other attractions in close proximity. If you fancy treating yourself to a meal out, the renowned Titchwell Manor Hotel/Restaurant and Briarfields Hotel are both just a very short stroll away from the cottage and serve excellent food; be it a bar snack, afternoon tea or fine dining.
There is the added advantage of off-road parking for three vehicles at Twitchers Cottage. Close to The Wash estuary and the RSPB reserve, Titchwell is a very popular area for wildlife enthusiasts throughout the year, but especially during spring and autumn migration, and to see the spectacular winter geese and wader phenomenon at nearby Snettisham RSPB reserve.
Additional Information:
One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge).
Travel cot and high chair available on request. Please bring your own linen for the travel cot.
Pillows and duvets are synthetic.
Please bring your own pods for the Nespresso coffee machine.
