About the host
Hosted by Evie
We arrived in Beautiful Colorado in 2018 after moving from the Virgin islands after Hurricanes Irma and Maria detoured us to the Rocky Mountains. My son needed a place for Highschool and our love of nature and small town community mindset lured us to Gilpin County. In the islands I worked as a Captain and tour guide for 20 years. I found a passion for hosting our guests on a magical experience. We lived aboard our sailboat for 16 years and dreamed of building a home one day. We are thrilled to share our home with you. Where you can relax, reflect and play in Epic Natural Beauty.
Why they chose this property
You will be surrounded by forest and bask in the alpine glow reflecting off the Continental Divide. Every Season has its unique beauty and gifts. The house rests upon Mt Thordon with amazing views. Small mountain towns of Nederland and Central City are within 20 minutes away.
