The Space:

Lionfish Cottage is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath Townhome Villa at the private Indigo Reef Resort. This gated Resort-style community has all you need for your Florida Keys vacation. Lush green lawns for the kids to run in, boat dockage up to 31 ft. (slip #3) with electricity and water and a large beautiful resort-style pool. Enjoy instant Gulf access from the dock and also quick ocean access via Vaca Cut channel. The main level offers an open layout with beautiful water views and a convenient half bath. The bedrooms are tucked away upstairs with the master suite offering soaring views from its private balcony. There is also a lovely balcony off the queen bedroom. This location is close to charter boats, shopping and Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters. Parking for 2 vehicles.

Getting Around:

Renting a car is the best way to get around. There is a public bus that goes to Key West and Miami.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that if you plan to travel with a boat, we can only guarantee that one boat will be able to fit at the dock. Please be sure you are familiar with the dock size and do not assume more than one watercraft can be secured at the property during your stay. ***Beam can not be wider than 10ft, the dock space for this unit is 31 ft. Boats must have a minimum of 3 bumpers ( Stern, Bow, and Spring ) or they will not be allowed to stay.



If bringing a pet, will be required to pay a one-time $150 pet fee (2 pet max). ***All pets must be leashed while outdoors on the property.***



No smoking on the property or back porches, only area permitted is the front porch.

Loved the location on the water beautiful pool area and grounds. Beautiful view of the ocean Unit is well equipped. Two negatives, the decks are divided by and three foot railing so you better hope you like your neighbors and the checkin process did not have enough information.

10 day spring break

Great location for the kids unit is right on the water great backyard space! the older neighbors probably aren’t used to much children and noise they did complain however we enjoyed our extended stay. Nice family vacation

Great Location in the Middle of the Keys

This is a great spot in the middle of the Keys. It’s near plenty of dining options. Highly recommend Sparky’s. The docks at Indigo Reef have all recently been redone with trex decking which looks really nice. Fishing and boating right out the back door. Would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular water views

Other than walking into a cracked toilet, which was replace immediately, the vacation in this property was amazing. Pool was exceptional along with the gulf views, boat dockage was great and weather was on our side. Everyone enjoyed it tremendously.

Great Family Friendly Marathon location

Can't beat Indigo Reef if you have a boat and are looking for a great family friendly place to stay in Marathon. Had some issues with linens being wet when we arrived, and a couple other minor things, but overall love this place. Management was responsive and available when we needed anything. Highly recommend

Indigo Reef is perfect

We stayed at a couple different Indigo Reef properties, this one had a spectacular view, near the end by the bay. Great communication with manager. indigo Reef takes amazing care of the property and the pool is always clean and perfect. Boat slip is a huge plus and it is protected. Would definitely stay here again.

Another week in Paradise

Our stay at the Indigo Reef Marina and Resort was fantastic. The location is perfect for boaters with protected docks and easy access via the Vaca Cut to the Atlantic and nearby reefs for snorkeling and fishing. Our unit was clean and well appointed. Other guests and owners were very nice. Will definitely be back

Great place but you gotta enjoy there termites

We have stayed at Indigo Reef on multiple occasions, but first time in unit #8 for a period of 2 weeks. Condo overall clean with quick access to boat slip right off the door. Needs new caulking in bathrooms as there is a lot of black that looks like mold, but that was not the main issue which was that the place was infested with live termites which landed on pillows and sheets on 2 out of the 3 bedrooms. Notified Island Breeze Vacation Manager right away who was responsive and came, and who sent the place to be cleaned next day and called Terminix for a subsequent visit, but obviously when you have termites, unless you tent the problem does not go away. After some back and forth via Island Breeze Vacations who contacted the owner who lives in the UK, got a small refund back. Won't be coming back until I know the whole building of 6-8 condo has been tented.

A great Villa with a Delightful view….

Our second time in this unit. Nicely decorated, clean & comfortable. We had a few hiccups but management took care of them promptly. The unit has wonderful views of the gulf and many palm trees from the decks. Well kept grounds. Nice pool. Great location in middle keys. Could use new skillets, new bed pillows and higher chairs for upstairs deck as the view is somewhat blocked by railing w low chairs. All in all a good & peaceful week at this Villa. Would rent again.

Our Experience

Beautiful place! The dishwasher didn't work. The guest shower was slippery and rigged up to work. There were no oven mitts or kitchen cloths. The maintenance man was great. The agent helped bit it was a holiday. The brow and everything else was gorgeous!! We would do it again.

Gorgeous Views- Peaceful & Comfortable

This was our second time staying at Indigo Reef. The units are well furnished with everything you will need. Peaceful, Quiet (in November). Convenient to all the Keys. Loved the Gulf view and sunrise/sunsets. Loved the upper and lower decks.

The property as a whole is very nice. Unit 8 is great, perfect location with dock right behind you. Unit is well equipped and decorated smartly. The mattresses are close to end of lifespan.

Very nice

Everyone liked your property. I but would of liked to have the ability to grill out. There was a grill out back with a couple small bags of charcoal on the bottom shelf of grill. the owners apparently don’t allow grills. I did notice the unit to our left had used it. I witnessed them putting it back in front of our steps one morning with the charcoal gone from the shelf. We would stay again, just wish I had a boat!!

Beautiful place needs new cleaning crew .

Great location with beautiful views . Boat slip was close and accessible with just a short walk to the pool area. We enjoyed our stay however, did not received the welcome package as mentioned . The initial move in email had inaccurate information. Needs better attention to cleanliness and maintenance.
