This vibrant town has an array of shops selling top quality gifts, trinket souvenirs and handmade knits but to name a few! You will also find boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. There are cosy coffee shops, pubs from the genuine ‘quaint-Irish' to the more trendy where entertainment is plentiful. Whatever your taste in music you will find a selection of traditional, modern music and dance. Clifden has a reputation for the West's ‘Gourmet Capital' - for its fine restaurants. Take the kids to the town playground where they can have fun on the swings or have a kick about in the pitch beside it!

White sandy beaches, Connemara Golf Links, Kylemore Abbey & Connemara National Park are all within a short driving distance from this holiday home.

The entrance hall leads you into the spacious and rustic living area where you will find a warm stove fire waiting for you. This rooms offers a Smart TV with Free to Air Channels and Netflix, 2, two seater leather couches and two tables which combined seating upto 8 guests. There is carpet flooring throughout, oil fired central heating, WiFi and stunning views of Clifden town and harbour on offer.

Step down into the bright and spacious kitchen which is fully equipped with the following: microwave,gas cooker, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and separate washing machine and dryer. A serving hatch can be found here into the dining/living area.

The kitchen area leads onto a very large decked area which is ideal for dining al fresco or enjoying the sunset over Clifden Bay

Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at White Heather House. It was convenient to park the car, so being right in the middle of town was fabulous. The great view off the deck made you feel as if you were in the country but you could walk out the front door and have access to shops, restaurants and a grocery. We were just short drives to Sky Road, Connemara Golf Links, Kylemore Abbey and the National Park. You could easily spend a week or more here and not be bored. Our host was most gracious as well. Thanks for a great experience.

Perfect location!

This home was very clean and well-appointed. And the location as amazing! Right in the heart of Clifden, within walking distance of all local attractions.

Our recent weekend stay

Perfect place for a large group. 5 rooms with separate beds and en-suite in every room. Right in the middle of the town with lots of free parking nearby. Pubs restaurants literally 30 secs walk from the front door

A lovely week in the heart of Clifden

We spent a lovely week in Connemara, based in White Heather House. Gerard, the owner ,was veey nice and was promptly on hand to help us with any problems. The location is ideal, right in the centre of the town. The rooms were clean and the kitchen well stocked. Seating in the living area is limited for a large number of guests, which was the only draw back, however, if the weather is nice there is a lovely patio area to sit out on.
