Thanksgiving weekend 2018: The weather was chilly but this cottage is easy to heat and there are nice walks along the quiet woodsy roads. The cottage has large windows with a fantastic view over Lake Joseph. The beds, linens and towels are excellent. Although there is a bath and shower indoors we enjoyed the outdoor shower. The kitchen is well equipped and there are lots of comfy places to sit. We are planning to return.

Picture perfect classic Muskoka cottage.
Beautiful property with super private location. Less then 4-5 cottages surround the expansive land where Shane's family cottage is located. Great for large families or group. Shane generously provides tons of options for things to do with fishing rods, kayaks, and water toys available. Sun shines from morning till night with practically full exposure all day. Located in a more reserved part of the lake with less boat traffic then most of Lake Joe. Located 15 min from town of Rosseau where they have great shops and all u need to stock up. 20-25min from Port carling so not far from anything but far enough to keep you sitting on the dock or beautifully set deck.
Will be sure to visit again,
Thanks Shane!
