Met Our Needs
The house met our needs for a family of ten - 6 adults and 4 kids for two weeks, although the pictures on the website need to be updated as some items shown are no longer at the property and it is not as "staged" as in the photos. For example, there is a sofa that was covered in blankets because the "leather" was peeling off, also a couple of chairs for the large dining room table were broken. We enjoyed the pool every day and cooking in the kitchen. The communication with the property management company was not the best. Emails and texts messages were not responded to in a timely manner. Housekeeping entered the home during our stay even when we had declined the service during check-in. The listing also did not provide advance notice to guests informing them that others would be visiting the property daily to take care of the pool, water the vegetable garden and turn on the sprinklers. While this did not impact the enjoyment of our stay, it should have been explicitly stated and/or mentioned at check-in. It also would have been very helpful to have instructions provided for the washing machine, stovetop and oven. Instead, we needed to search the web for manuals. We would have loved to have an electric clothes dryer at the property as it was a challenge to keep up with all the laundry. The refrigerator could probably be replaced as the freezer door does not close the best and causes ice buildup.
