Beautiful Waterfront 60 Acre Country Ranch, St. John's River

The ranch is a beautiful, 3 story, 3 bedroom , 2 bath home in the middle of 80beautiful acres. Located on a large lake connecting to the St. John's River with total seclusion and privacy. This is a one of a kind vacation with all the comforts and still within 35 minutes of Daytona and New Smyrna Beaches and one hour from Orlando. Other attractions are Two Springs (20 minute drive), great restaurants, golf, snorkeling, boat rentals, fishing , scuba diving, hiking and great fishing and boating. all located near historic Deland. We also have added wireless high speed internet and a new 55 inch Sony High Definition TV with in one living room for evening entertainment. There is also a newer 40 inch flat screen tv in the main living area. We also have a screened in pool with hot tub the hot tub is only used fro October till the first of April and drained after that. The ranch also has a small dock . There is a boat launch ramp close by to use if you bring a boat. . There are springs just 4 miles down the river to visit by boat where you can picnic swim or snorkel. By boat there are miles of beautiful river and tributaries to explore or relax on the deck. If you are looking for a 5 star designer home with granite countertops, and a sub zero refrigerator then this may not be where you want to come. We don’t want groups to come and then give us a review saying that our home needs to be upgraded. It is basically clean and comfortable but does not have updated modern furniture, appliances etc. the appliances are fairly new but basic. So please do not book a stay at our ranch and go to Disney instead if you are picky and looking for a modern upgraded home. We do however have over 80 % 5 star reviews but these come from groups who more appreciate the property which is 80 acres with 1,100 feet on the water with no other property that compares for a country private setting. We have many return groups.
Also the pool is screened however this is not a resort where there is a pool boy to skim the pool every morning for pollen, dust and a bug or two that make their way into the pool from dew etc every night. So we provide a skimmer for your use if you choose to remove these items from the surface on a daily basis. We don’t want you giving us a review saying the pool could be cleaner as we said overnight in the country things, pollen etc get into the pool which you can simply spend 10 minutes skimming out. We do have a pool service which keeps the water sanitized . We do not allow guns of any kind including no BB or pellet guns, and no off road vehicles of anykind allowed. We also have a max of two children allowed . I do come to the property midday as there is always work to do on the over 70 acres but will not be close to the house to give you your privacy. I am there about two hours a day . Also we do not cater to parties or groups that are heavy drinkers or who have anyone in their group that is. We are looking for responsible groups while drinking is fine if you or anyone in tour group is not a responsible drinker please do not ask for a reservation. We also have a fourth bedroom with king bed down stairs with full bath that is optional at $60 per night additional. If you want to invite or plan to invite others over during your stay, friends relative’s etc for any reason please give those details in your original request . Most people when they arrive are excited to see such a large property and privacy that no other rentals have. It is truly a unique experience. All linens are freshly washed after each guest leaves.
