Blue Skies Cottage is a semi-detached bungalow situated in the fishing village of Auchmithie, Scotland. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size and a family room with double and single bed, along with a shower room, this cottage can sleep up to five guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with woodburning stove. To the outside is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis. Blue Skies Cottage is a great base for exploring the scenic coastline of East Scotland.

Town: Arbroath lies 15 northeast of Dundee on Scotland’s Angus coastline. The town is famous for its long sandy beaches and stunning sandstone cliffs that stretch out to either side of the town. Within the town there is also a number of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as some fascinating buildings such as the Arbroath Abbey and Arbroath Smokie, both well worth a visit. Coastal walks and cycling can be enjoyed from the town and there are a few golf courses nearby.

Lovely home from home

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very comfortable and very warm. The kitchen was really well-equipped - possibly the best equipped I've stayed in. The only thing missing was a potato masher, but we improvised with a wine bottle! The beds were extremely comfortable, with good quality pillows and bedding. Lovely garden, too, which our Collie enjoyed investigating. The location was great - lots of lovely walks. Arbroath 10 mins away if we needed shopping. We went to nearby Lunan Bay, which had a lovely beach. Hopefully we will return, as we did have a fantastic time.
