Heatherview is an attractive single-storey, stone cottage resting in the village of Akeld, Northumberland. Boasting three bedrooms including a double, a twin and a bunk room, this property can sleep up to six guests. Bed linen and towels included in rent. The bedrooms are serviced by a bathroom and a shower room, and the property is complete with a kitchen and a living/dining room. Outside there is off-road parking available for guests. Heatherview is a wonderful choice for any family or group getaway to the Northumberland countryside. Note: This property does not accept Sunday check ins. Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights. The Cheviot Goat pub is located on site and is available to guests subject to seasonal opening hours. PLEASE NOTE: The on-site swimming pool and sauna facilities will be open for guest use from 1 April 2026.
Use of the swimming pool and sauna is available for an additional charge and must be arranged directly with the owners prior to arrival.
From 1 April 2026 pool access is charged at £42 per adult per week with shorter stays charged on a pro-rata basis.
Children under the age of 14 are not charged for pool use
The swimming pool is unsupervised and used at guests’ own risk
Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and lone swimming is not permitted for anyone under 18
