Holiday Apartment in Funchal

Our first visit to Madeira and what a beautiful apartment to stay in. Communication with Sofia was brilliant, even before we had arrived. Sofia also suggested we could leave our bags as we arrived before our check in time, and she also gave us lots of information on recommended bars, restaurants and trips. The apartment is very spacious and is well equipped with everything needed to self cater. The outside terrace is fantastic with amazing views overlooking the old town, mountains and cable car just right for sitting with a drink into the evening. The beach is a short walk and you can also follow the passeio past the marina heading west.Thanks again Sofia for making our Madeira holiday perfect, we shall return.

Perfect home base

I cant express enough how much we loved our experience staying at Sofia's flat. To start, the communication was exceptional. Sofia made sure we had everything we needed foe the best possible stay, which included parking which is super rare! The location can't be beat if you're looking for an authentic Madeiran experience. Right at the cable car, Ave do Mar and a bunch of fabulous restaurants. The Terrance is huge and faces the mountain and at night the lights are incredible. We enjoyed our breakfast, wine and family time out there every day. The flat is much more spacious than it appears with a large functional kitchen and comfortable sitting room where we could kick back and watch a bit of TV. I can't recommend this flat enough. Sofia is a gem of a human and provided soanybwonderful tips and recommendations on everything from restaurants to car rentals to excursions. Truly a phenomenal experience and we will most certainly return! Thank you, Sofia! ❤️
