Pretty as a picture, this archetypal Norfolk flint cottage in Docking has charm in abundance; cosy, warm, full of character and quietly tucked away in a peaceful loke. It's the perfect bolt hole for a relaxing getaway at any time of the year and only a short drive to the coast!
3 Chapel Cottages is a delightful mid-terrace Victorian cottage approached by a south facing courtyard garden. The downstairs is perfectly balanced with a delightful beamed sitting room to the front, flooded with natural light and warmed by a wood burning stove, and a well-equipped country style kitchen with dining area at the back, again with a beamed ceiling, and a stable door to open on a warm day. On the first floor are two inviting bedrooms - a good-sized double bedroom to the front of the cottage, which retains its original cast iron open fireplace, and a twin room with an attractive exposed brick wall. Both rooms share a lovely modern bathroom including a full size bath with high pressure rain shower. The sunny garden at the front of the cottage is fully enclosed with picket fence and shrubs, and is a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet drink, or two, and bite to eat.
Docking is a bustling village, with excellent local amenities - a supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, and pub - and also hosts a weekly farmer's market with stallholders including a baker, fishmonger, butcher, greengrocer and a stall selling cheeses, cakes and preserves. Nest Farmhouse, located in the village, is a seasonal British restaurant from the team behind the Michelin starred London restaurant, St. Barts. The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk coast, with its long and fine sandy beaches, the nearest being at Brancaster - just four miles away - and is a great base for getting out and about exploring the villages of rural Norfolk too. Hi,
Thank you very much for your review, we do really appreciate it. We will pass this on to the housekeeping team so they can action if necessary. We do advise that the logs left will only be enough for the first fire.
I hope you had a lovely time and we can welcome you back soon.
Best wishes,

Relaxing & comfortable home from home
A comfortable and well equipped cottage which is attractively decorated and presented, we had a relaxing few days in what is a really peaceful location but close to local beaches and villages. Would have no hesitation in returning again in the future.

A very comfortable and cosy cottage.
We felt very at home in the cottage. Everything is provided although drying washing is a challenge should you wish to do so. The furniture and decor complement the cottage very well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bed very comfy with nice bedding. The towels provided were very clean and soft. The cottage was just right for the two of us.

Small, beautifully furnished cottage in good location
Small, beautifully furnished cottage in a good location close to beaches in Hunstanton and Holkham and Wells. Titchwell, Pensthorpe and Sandringham nearby. Furniture and furnishings were of good quality and everything was clean and fresh. The kitchen is well equipped with small dining table. The small electric storage heaters were not very effective in heating the place, especially in winter. The shower is small and underpowered. When we had some minor problems they were dealt with promptly.A delightful place to stay and return to.
