La p’tite Dune - 400m from beautiful sandy beaches
Bretteville Plage is a beautiful beach community with a small bar in the summer and a sailing school if you want to try a new sport. There is a good range of shops and restaurants in the nearby market towns of Portbail, La Haye du Puits and Carteret, but also closer in Denneville and along the road. sur Ay. The beautiful sandy beach stretches 4 km in both directions and is not crowded even in summer. The area is ideal for walking the dog and close to nature reserves with dunes. There are street markets within easy driving distance every day and many annual fairs and festivals. Visit Jersey, Guernesey and Mont-Saint-Michel and Bayeux.
