It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us.
We’re glad you made the most of the location, being so close to restaurants and key spots, perfect for walking and exploring Mérida. It also means a lot to know that our service and the additional cleaning options met your expectations, as we always strive to take care of every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Thank you for choosing us and for your kind words. We would love to welcome you back in the future.
The host was welcoming and very helpful! The place was beautiful! Loved the plunge pool best way to cool down after spending the day walking around town. Great location a lot of restaurants, markets, and grocery stores near by. The only negative is that the drier does not work properly however having the court yard to dry our clothes was a great option! I would recommend this place for anyone that is looking to stay in a beautiful historical home!

AC worked well.We didn't use the landry facilities. The foyer, family room and veranda were especially nice, and the artwork in each room was pleasant and interesting. Great ideas! Well done!
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Linda very much. The house was as described. Clean, bright, comfortable. Pool was nice amenity to have. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, within walking distance to most places we wanted to go to in centro.
Delightful casa. All the comforts of home in a magical setting. Loved the pool. Larger & deeper than it looked on line. Walking distance to everything. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends. Thank you!
Casa Linda is unassuming from the quiet street (parking is easy) but opens to a lovely interior. The neighborhood feels safe and we walked to and from dinner 10 minutes away without concern. Everything in the home is clean, neat, and comfortable. Washer and dryer work well. Air conditioning too. Teens loved the pool in the courtyard. I would hesitate to rent this property with small children because of the balcony, steps, and open access to the deep pool. For everyone else, highly recommend!
Worked out well for our needs. After hotel stays it was great to cook a couple of meals and freshen up some of our clothes in the washer and dryer. Host responded in a timely fashion to all questions. About the only frustration was the lack on places for luggage and clothes in the main floor bedroom
Property was exactly as described & seen in the pictures, perfect for our family of 4. The location was within 5-10 walk to Merida's main square in Centro, so just far enough for easy and safe street parking. The outdoor space was comfortable for relaxing after a hot day touring and we all enjoyed the small but delightfully deep soaking pool. We ended up spending as much, or more time, on the patio between the pool and dining al fresco than indoors during our stay. Outdoor lighting made for romantic evenings. Hosts were very responsive to small matters.

We are glad to hear about their wonderful stay. We appreciate every note taken about the house and how we can assist them during their stay. Every detail is really important to us so that our guests can enjoy with no worries and focus on their vacation and relaxation days!
This place has potential, but needs to greatly improve a few things. First, the pros: the pictures are accurate-ish, the location is excellent and quiet, and the a/c and pool will keep you cool during even the hottest days. Now the cons…first, I don’t understand those that praise this place on cleanliness. There were visible dust bunnies hanging from the archways, on the windows and on the storage units in the bedrooms. The floor was so dirty my feet were black after a few hours of only being indoors. Next, the keys for the bedrooms are kept in a small Tupperware container in the kitchen. It contains 36 keys - yes, we counted them. None of them are labeled, so it took us over 10 minutes trying to find a key that worked. The next day we couldn’t get the downstairs bedroom door to unlock. We contacted the management company (they were quick to respond - kudos). It took their man about five minutes and he just had to break open the door and told us to not lock it. Also, they need to inspect everything. There are at least six lights that don’t work and we had to replace the batteries in two of the a/c remotes. Lastly, the clothes dryer does not work. A prior complaint from just one month ago also complained. The owner’s response was that it was fixed. Bull! We ran our first load for hours and still had to lay everything out to dry. After this, I can’t recommend this place.
The place was clean and located in a quiet street, it was easy to park. The A/C at the bedrooms were well. The only issue we have is that there was not hot water and we were unable to turn on the stove. We were leaving early morning the followingd day. Because we arrived late, the issue was not solved during our stay. I would suggest to check that everything is working properly before any guest arrives.
Overall, Casa Linda in Merida, Mexico, was a fantastic house rental experience. The property was stunning and meticulously cared for, offering a refreshing plunge pool that was particularly appreciated given the high temperatures. Its prime location near excellent restaurants, parks, and the main plaza made exploring Merida convenient and enjoyable. A minor inconvenience arose from not knowing how to control the plunge pool's water feature initially, leading to a noisy night. Nevertheless, the issue was promptly resolved by a property maintenance professional who demonstrated the time for the water feature. This minor hiccup aside, Casa Linda provided a delightful and memorable stay in Merida and I would highly recommend this property.

@Discovery.Merida 😊
We were so pleased to have found such a great place to stay in Merida. It was just like the photos on the listing and in a really handy location where we could normally park very close for free. The beds were really comfy and the air conditioning excellent. We also appreciated the fast wi-fi and filtered water. All the decorations and furniture made the place really characterful and we loved the plunge pool and lighting. Just a couple of things to help guests further would be useful; the lighting is lovely throughout but labels for the many switches in each room would be handy! We appreciated the laundry, but don't like to use dryers, so it would be beneficial to have a drying rack. We found the booklet of restaurants really useful and ate at a couple (the very nearby pizza restaurant was fantastic) but it would have been helpful to have a brief guide of other 'things to do' or useful info such as a nearby supermarket, or the best place to park when visiting the historic area. We used Merida as a base to visit Chichen Itza and also the Celestun Biosphere to see the flamingos.
I would strongly recommend this property to anyone coming to Merida.
The house is lovely and in a great walkable location -- 15 to 20 minutes to busy (touristed) business districts. Parking at the house was always easy and the neighborhood is quiet. The house has a beautiful design that was perfect for us traveling with teens. Having the bedrooms separated from the common rooms (plus 3 bathrooms!) was great. Courtyard is lovely. Pool is small but perfect for a dip and refresh. Only a few things could have been better. These are just an advisory for future guests, definitely not a complaint. 1) the stove has really low flame so we didn't cook hardly at all; 2) we ran out of gas so were a day without hot water or stove. The managers sent someone out right away to diagnose but then one of us stayed in all of one day because the gas tank was coming. We realized after the new tank was in place that we hadn't needed to be there ... so communication was off ... but our Spanish is intermediate at best so at least half the misunderstanding was on us; and 3) there were few "basics" in the house (trash bags, dishwasher detergent, spices, etc.). I really appreciate when arriving into a vacation rental and not having to shop immediately for basics. I repeat these were minor inconveniences that didn't meaningfully impact our trip. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house in a beautiful city. We would definitely go back.
