The Bothy

Excellent location for touring North Norfolk area. Quiet location and lovely sunrise over tree line across the fields at 05:30 I would recommend sleeping with the curtains open! The shed is looking a little jaded on the outside and there is only a small place to sit outside. Again the table and chairs were quite old and rusting. We had however been offered use of the garden as the house was vacant and in reality we were out and about most of the time as the weather was fantastic all week. All in all a nice short break. Many thanks.

A cosy cabin for 2!

We booked this for a little R&R and it was perfect. A great spot for walks and a short drive away from the beach. The cabin has everything you need and has a lovely cosy vibe. We'd also recommend the Gin Trap Inn for drink or food, and its just a few minutes walk away.

Overall a nice stay

Outside space is very limited, would benefit from access to some space of the adjacent property when not jointly booked. Wet room looks good but not completely practical. Overall an enjoyable stay

Review of Bothy Stay

A lovely area to visit. Great amenities near by and very close to beaches. I thought that the accommodation was a bit expensive for what is provided. I wish it was a bit clearer to me that the garden in the picture does not form part of the Bothy stay, that was very disappointing as I thought the garden was and it was the main reason why I chose the accommodation. There is only a very small patio at the front and a narrow walkway to the the bothy through the side of a very big garden that is actually part of the Potting shed accommodation. I also hope they look into the underfloor drainage as there was heavy rain one evening causing a small leak into the bothy. The people running the Bothy however are very responsive and helpful and our stay was very enjoyable because of the beautiful beaches near by.

Nice…expensive for being in the back garden of another property though!

Nice property with amazing views, just got cold at night. Note it’s in the garden of separate property!

Ideal location and a great find

Lovely, homely, stylish, comfortable cottage, ideal for two, has everything you need for a relaxing break away. Especially liked the outside space and garden. Great views and lots of countryside walks on your doorstep. Ringstead is a picturesque village with a wonderful local shop selling food, local goods, crafts and antiques, a must visit. 'The Bothy' is in a part of Norfolk that has lots of places to visit without the crowds and is well situated for those interested in bird watching. Enjoyed our week there very much.
