Villa Azzurra is a gorgeous villa on Sardinia’s breathtaking south coast. The villa is part of a private gated residence located off the coastal road that takes from the island’s historical capital Cagliari to the world-famous beaches of Villasimius.

The position of the villa is really stunning as it is set between the Sette Fratelli Park and the Golfo degli Angeli and enjoys fantastic views of both.

The villa also enjoys of large outdoor spaces with covered and uncovered verandas on all three sides. Internally the villa is divided on two floors. The large upper floor is composed of spacious dining living area with French doors that lead to a covered veranda with amazing sea views, a fully equipped separate kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen has access to two covered terraces, one in the front equipped with table and chairs for al fresco dining with stunning views, and one in the back where the laundry area is located.

The lower floor is composed of 2 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. One of the double bedrooms has the the benefit of ensuite shower room. The family shower room completes the lower floor. All three bedrooms have French doors that lead to a covered terrace with easy access to the pool..



Dining on the front terrace in the evenings is always a special experience where you’ll be able to witness incredible sunsets over the bay and mountains in the distance, the sunset is different every evening but always spectacular!



Down a few steps from the main terrace you will find the generous sized sea facing private pool with loungers for sunbathing.



Villa Azzurra is perfect for relaxing or for fun filled family holidays, or for couples wanting to escape the hassles of modern life.



The Villa is the ultimate place to completely chill and unwind while watching the changing colours and currents of the sea below. Alternatively you could use it as a base for exploring the stunning beaches, historical sites and dramatic scenery of the South Sardinian coast.



The distance from the sea, as the crow flies, is of 500 m. A few minutes drive away you will find several bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The nearest pebble beach is 900 m away. The nearest sandy beach is about 3 km away going in direction of Cagliari. If you do decide to go towards Villasimius the nearest sandy beach is 3 km away. A car is strongly recommended.

The villa was lovely and comfortable. The hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating. While the actual neighborhood of a gated community was ok, we were disappointed in being such a distance from almost everything but beaches. The beaches were beautiful but we did not like having to drive on narrow, scary roads to reach them, so didn't take much advantage. Very few decent restaurants nearby, and had to drive long distances to visit interesting sites.

I am sorry that you found the coastal road with its enchanting beaches scary as most people find it breathtaking. There is however another straighter road to reach them which can be easily reached from the villa complex. Sorry I did not think to add it to the welcome book, I'll do so in case some other guests prefer to take the new road to drive to the beaches. As for the distances from the villa to almost everything I am sorry you found them daunting as Cagliari is at just half an hour driving distance from Terra mala, and many other interesting historical and cultural sites are between one and hours drive away. It obviously was too much for you and I am sorry that you were disappointed. Yet again, it has been a real pleasure to communicate with you and Karim was real glad to have you met in person. Spectacular views!

The villa was spacious, modern and comfortable, with everything we needed. Views were incredible, and there were lots of places to sit and enjoy them outside in peace. Whilst there were a couple of neighbouring villas, it felt very secluded and private. Car is essential but lots of stunning beaches all within a very short and easy drive. Would happily return.

Great but slightly spoiled

Property was great and aircon was vital given the extreme heat. Only downside was the neighbours who had loud building work during our last 3 days, starting at 7:30 am 🤕

I am sorry about the noise you mentioned in your comments.. you never said anything about it during your stay and this is the first time we heard about it. If you had told us during your stay we would have been able to speak with the neighbours (we are still trying to understand which ones) and maybe manage to have whatever they were doing done later in the day. Fortunately on the 15th, the day you left and the new guests arrived, there was no sign of any building work nor on the following Monday so, it is very likely that someone was doing some maintenance work rather than building work. I am really sorry about it but I am very glad that you loved the property. I wish you all the best Angela

Beautiful place to relax with the family

We really enjoyed our family stay at Terra Mama, the house offers lots of in- and outdoor space for everybody and many cozy areas to unwind and enjoy the amazing views over Cagliari Bay. The pool has a good size. Quiet residential area, where you will definitely will need a car to get around, but many shops, beaches and restaurants within a few minutes drive. Karim and Angela were great hosts, always very responsive and helpful with everything. Great place to relax with friends and family

Fabulous holiday

After hours of searching for villas online to stay in Sardinia we came across this and knew this was perfect and it did not disappoint! What a beautiful place to stay. The views are spectacular and the villa is gorgeous and well equipped. We ate out a few times but also cooked at the house too. A car is needed due to location and there is allocated parking at the house. Communication with Angela and Karim was brilliant throughout with any queries we had. Would highly recommend to anyone we travelled as a family of 4 with children aged 9 and 6. Thankyou for an amazing stay

Thank you for a nice stay, a wonderful house, quietly located with an incredible view of the south of Sardinia. Every day a magnificent view of the sunset and the sea. Nearby many small bays and also some rail beaches. A really clean pool, cleaned almost daily. and quiet air-conditioned bedrooms... well-equipped kitchen and plenty of loungers throughout the garden and on the terrace... Invite you to linger.the gatgeber always nice and inconspicuous .. but responded to every request immediately friendly. Thank you for a really nice holiday

A real home away from home

We felt very comfortable in the house Azzurra. The house is modernly furnished and offers all amenities for a holiday home. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and offers all options to prepare something yourself, incl. filter- and portafilter coffee machine for espresso coffee. The pool is large enough so that you can also really swim. The view of the landscape and the sea is simply fantastic. We often sat on the balcony until late at night and enjoyed the flickering lights from Quartu to Cagliari with a delicious drink. Some days we only left the property to go shopping or to go to the sea. Angela and Karim are super nice and extremely helpful hosts and take excellent care of their guests. We would love to come back here again sometime.

Schönes, grosszügiges Haus

Der Aufenthalt im Haus war sehr angenehm. Für 6 Personen mit 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 Badezimmer mit einer grosszügigen Küche (gut eingerichtet) hatten wir Grosseltern, Eltern und Kinder viel Raum und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Zeit vom 12. bis 19. Oktober war etwas ungünstig, da an vielen SträndeN schon die Restaurants geschlossen und keine Liegen mehr angeboten wurden! Für die Jugendlichen Kinder waren auch keine Angebotf mehr vorhanden; kei Jetski etc. Km Frühling ist es sicher idealer in dieser Region Ferien zu macht, da die Natur vermutlich schöner ist. Das Haus können wir empfehlen; das Bad ist aufgrund der Distanz zu den Stränden eine sehr gute Ergänzung!

Traumhaus mit Pool in Strandnähe

Perfekt ausgestattete Villa mit allem was man braucht. Schöner Garten mit Pool, Strand in 10 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Sehr hilfsbereite Vermieter, die jederzeit erreichbar waren und sich Zeit für Fragen /Probleme (bspw platten Autoreifen) Zeit nehmen. Ein Handbuch der Vermieter mit Tips für Ausflüge/Restaurants/einkaufen in der Umgebung macht das Ganze perfekt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!!

Schöne Wohnung

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung auf viel Fläche und im oberen Bereich sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Schränke in den Schlafräumen und die Bäder könnten nur etwas mehr Ablageflächen gebrauchen. Der Ausblick von den vielen Terrassen ist grandios. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Haus mit fantastischen Blich in den Sonnenuntergang

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bietet mit 3 Bädern und 3 Schlafzimmern jede Menge Komfort. Der Blick von der Terrasse über die Bucht ist einfach super. Den gleichen Blick hat man vom Frühstückstisch aus, neben der Küche. Dieser Blick war für uns der Grund zur Buchung. Aber auch der Pool war super schön. Einkaufen im Umkreis war kein Problem, zum Essen musste man etwas weiter fahren. Auch zu Stränden musste man etwas länger fahren, hatte dann aber große Auswahl. Da auch der Weg nach Cagliari nicht weit ist, ist man in dieser schönen ruhigen Wohngegend gut positioniert. Es war ein toller Urlaub und wir kommen wieder. Übrigens, der Verwalter, Karim, ist super nett, hilft jederzeit weiter und kümmert sich. Leider war der Blick auf die Bucht vom Pool aus etwas durch Büsche behindert. Auf der Terrasse vor dem Wohnzimmer haben wir einen Tisch vermisst. Aber man hätte auch nicht drum herum sitzen können. dafür war der Platz zu knapp. Auch dort gab es zu hohe Büsche.

Relaxing 2 weeks in a well equipped modern villa

Beautiful, spacious, modern and well equipped villa with views to die for. Car is essential. Some excellent local restaurants a short drive away. Amazing beaches within a 20 minute drive. Pool is a good size to play, swim and relax in but ball games not recommended as you are not far from the property boundary and being on a hillside it’s a bit of a climb to retrieve any lose balls! Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

Beautiful Villa with stunning view!

The Villa is located in a gated community in a very quiet area and has a stunning view over the Mediterranean! The sunsets are especially gorgeous from the balcony with a drink and some food. Cagliari and Villasimius are just a short drive away. You would need a car at this property, but this gives the freedom to also explore the island. Villa has a kitchen, sitting area and bathroom upstairs. Downstairs you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The pool you can reach from each floor and also enjoys the stunning view.

Sehr schönes Haus mit fantastischem Meerblick

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit mit sehr guter Küchenausstattung und praktischer Aufteilung über zwei Ebenen. Die Lage ist perfekt geeignet, um Ausflüge Richtung Cagliari oder Villasimius / Capo Carbonara zu unternehmen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett um kümmern sich sofort., wenn Hilfe notwendig ist. Das Haus selbst lässt kaum Wünsche offen und verdient allein genommen 5 Sterne. Einzig die Notwendigkeit immer das Auto nutzen zu müssen, um in die örtliche Kultur eintauchen zu können ist nicht ganz optimal. Ansonsten ein sehr schöner Urlaubsort zum entspannen.

Wunderbar

Wir haben unseren Urlaub im Sommer 2021 in der Villa Azurra sehr genossen. Das Haus und der Garten in Südwest-Ausrichtung sind sehr groß und bieten viele schöne Plätze zum Verweilen. Die Küche war ganz neu und top ausgestattet, vom Küchenbalkon aus hat man eine fantastische Aussicht auf den Pool und das Meer. Auf dem an das Wohnzimmer angrenzenden Balkon ist eine gemütliche Sitzecke für tagsüber und abends, ebenfalls mit fantastischem Ausblick. Teilweise sind Olivenbäume etwas im Blick (sollten sicherlich etwas gestutzt werden), was aber dem Gesamteindruck kaum schmälert. Das großzügige Haus und die Ausstattung verdienen 5 Sterne. Der Garten und der Pool sind grundsätzlich ebenfalls fantastisch, benötigen aber noch etwas mehr Pflege im Detail. Die Lage zwischen Cagliari und Villasimius bedingt, dass man stets auf das Auto angewiesen ist. Besonders angetan waren wir von den zahlreichen Ausflügen nach Cagliari (ca. 35min mit dem Auto), da die Stadt unglaublich viel Flair und Atmosphäre bietet. Ausgehen, Essen, Shoppen oder einfach nur das Ambiente und die Stadt in all ihren Facetten zu genießen ist wunderbar. Richtung Villasimius an der Küstenstraße entlang ist der nächste Sandstrand ca. 15 Minuten entfernt (Torre Delle Stelle oder Genn'e Mari), Kiesstrände oder felsige Buchten gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Golfspielen ist der Tanka Golf Course in Villasimius in gut 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert ein Bootsausflug vom nahe gelegenen Port Capitana. Vielen Dank noch einmal an Angela und Karim für die angenehme und tolle Betreuung vor Ort. Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.
