Great spot with amazing views

Very comfortable furniture (beds, sofas, etc) with a good range of cutlery and dishes for use. The hot tub worked brilliantly and was very clean. Some of the blocks/slabs on the steps to the tiered garden were loose / damaged which should be looked at as could be a hazard if not attended to soon.

Wonderful home.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home. The views are stunning! The beds were a little bit too firm for us however we loved how huge they are. The kitchen is more equipped than my own kitchen! The home is lovely and clean and so quiet. Thanks again.

Peaceful stay.

Lovely peaceful cottage, superbly equipped. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the Creek, the herons, egrets and twittering of the house martins. Lovely walk to St. Clement’s (bit muddy in places) and it’s a perfect base for our excursions to the Roseland Peninsula, Lands end , St. Agnes, Fowey, etc etc. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely property with us.

A Stunning tranquil oasis of peace!

A Stunning tranquil oasis of peace! Beautiful walks, left to St Clements and right to Truro city past Trennick Mill café. We loved the jacuzzi spa, the very close proximity to The Heron Bistro Bar and the very short stroll to the jetty to catch the boat to Falmouth. Spotting Herons and Egrets and watching the tides became an idyllic past time. Thank you for a relaxing break!

Beautiful well appointed property

This property is spectacular. Beautiful views, comfortable king size beds (2) with luxury linen and bath sheets. There was everything you could possibly need supplied, including a fabulous extra large outdoor spa.. we were welcomed with an incredible gift basket and the property only got better from there. We travel a lot and I have never stayed anywhere better. I would book again in a heart beat. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. One week was not enough in this beautiful place.

Stunning views

Communication was great, check in / out was easy. This property is beautiful; comfy beds, high quality bedding, a fully stocked kitchen, welcome pack filled with gorgeous local goodies. Everywhere you look there are really lovely details from the hinges & handles on the doors to the piece of wood in the window seat.I can’t stop thinking & talking about the views; they were simply stunning from most areas of the house and garden. The location is perfect; local pub within a few minutes walk, lovely local walks m, supermarkets & a town nearby and the icing on the cake was being able to catch the little ferry down the estuary to Falmouth then onto St Mawes from the Malpas Marina. Perfect! All the main areas were super clean, the fireplace hearth was really dusty and the decking outside the back bedroom could have done with being swept but these are very minor things. We will become regular visitors to Tideway. We loved it!

Amazing views!

The communication from finest retreats was really good. The views from the accommodation were amazing, it’s a great location and the house was really well kitted out with nice facilities. Being able to use the kayaks was a great bonus Some areas of the house (on the outside) looked a little unloved. For example the outside furniture was cobwebby and had bird poo on it which we needed to clean before using it. The kitchen layout was a little tricky as it’s long and narrow with the fridge at one side and the oven, kettle etc at the other.

Truly mesmerising!

The most relaxing place I think we have ever stayed - even the kids chilled out! This spot is truly mesmerising. The view, the birdlife, the sound of the owl at night. Total tranquillity. A glass of wine next to the log burner was magic.

Fabulous stay!

We have had a fabulous stay at Tideway, Extremely well equipped and a great spot to explore Cornwall from. As well as travelling around by car, we went to Falmouth on the ferry from the slipway just up the road, which is well worth doing. The café there looks really nice too. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Hopefully, we will be back.

Cornish heaven.......

This is such a fantastic house. We stayed in Malpas last year and loved it so much we decided to come back but wanted more space. This house gave us that and more. It's a home not a holiday home, exceptionally well equipped, and a lovely feel to it. Light airy rooms with magnificent views across the River Fal. My partner did not want to come home. This area is so peaceful but is close to everything. You can explore the whole of Cornwall from here without spending all day in the car. There is a fantastic walk from the house to St Clements and the cafe and pub are such a bonus being just down the road. One of the big pluses though, having stayed in this area before is the garage. It can be a nightmare to park and gets very busy and this was not an issue with an enormous garage for us to use. All in all a perfect stay and we will be looking to rebook for next year. Thank you. Bathroom could do with a refresh.

Wow ..what a view

Such a peaceful week watching the tide ebb and flow from the main window A little disappointed by a few things at the property 1 toilet roll provided (there was 4 of us) 1 tea towel..1 bin bag, 1 hand towel. The steps going upto the property were lose and uneven in parts (bricks moved under feet ..felt unsafe) Again the steps at the rear got very slippy and after rain my husband slipped on them after taking the dog into the garden (no hand rail) The toilet seat needs fixing, it moves when you sit on it. On the whole the house felt very cold and we did try to increase the thermostat but this constantly reset itself. The property could do with a sweeping brush on the premises, the hoover was very cumbersome and sweeping a whole floor with a dustpan and brush isn't feasible.

We had the most wonderful stay at this riverside gem in Cornwall.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting — the property sits right on the water, with views that change beautifully throughout the day. The house itself is spotless, stylishly decorated, and feels homely. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: tucked away enough to feel private and tranquil, yet only a short drive to charming Cornish villages, coastal walks, and fantastic pubs. We loved exploring by day and returning to our riverside retreat in the evenings.

Cornwall at its best!

The Views are simply stunning and the quality/comfort of accommodation was first class. Really easy to access Truro and surrounding region, whilst feeling remote and peaceful. We will be back!! Notification of steps to gain access but being picky.
