Town: Located just six miles from Porthmadog and ten miles from the charming village of Portmeirion is the charming village of Llanystumdwy near to Criccieth, which is known as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia'. Criccieth is home to a remarkable 13 century castle, which overlooks the town and offers expansive views of Tremadog Bay and the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains. Walkers and cyclists will be in their element at the variety of beautiful trails, as well as the close proximity of the famous Snowdonia National Park, whilst those who are looking to get out onto the water can enjoy the beautiful beaches.
