Terraced house with garden in a complex built thanks to a restoration project of the former tomato sauce and canned food factory Nicolò Dagnino, in the neighbourhood of Kalsa in Palermo.



The former factory is located in the neighbourhood of Kalsa and, during the restoration of the building, the great chimney stack has been preserved. The high ceilings have been kept too, adding roof windows that make the environment very bright and give an urban character to the spaces. The house boasts a furnished garden and a private parking in front of the entrance.

The indoors come with design and well-kept furniture: the entrance opens to a living area with an open-plan and well-equipped kitchen provided with a central island, a large sofa, a round dining table and a TV. The ground floor also houses a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer, together with a bathroom with shower.

A staircase leads to the upper level where there are two bedrooms with queen size beds, one of which also comes with a walk-in closet, and another bathroom with shower. On the same floor a workstation has been created with a desk and a printer.



*In front of the house, guests will benefit from a private handy parking for one city car.



*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.

Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the country and the capital of Sicily, offers plenty of wonderful Unesco heritage sites that can be visited in the four historic districts of the city. In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! The central station is less than 10 minutes walking distance and is the end of the line of both trains and buses from/to the airport, which is 33 kms by car from the apartment. From the same station there are several buses going to wonderful places like Mondello or Monreale.
