The smart dining table and chairs provide space to dine for four, and are accompanied by a chic blue dresser, a beautiful feature, and a real focal point for the room.
Beyond the living space are doors that lead directly out onto the canal-side garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying your morning coffee as the narrow-boats go by.
The bedrooms are generously sized and beautifully dressed, with the master offering a double bed and the second offering two full size singles. The family size bathroom includes a bath with shower over, large basin and close-coupled WC.
There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer provided for use if needed, and there is one allocated private car parking space available.

There you will find shops, tea-rooms, pubs and more, including the opportunity to visit Skipton Castle dating from mediaeval times, and a stroll through Aireville Park, a beautifully kept public garden.
Skipton Golf Club is only 2 miles away, just on the other side of town, and in under a 10 minute drive is the heritage attraction of the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway.

An excellent place for a short holiday & lovely to be by the canal.
I liked the flat & especially the location. My son & I took taxis into Skipton for our Main meal & I shopped in M&S for anything else we needed. I already brought my own coffee & butter with me. The Dales Cottage Cafe in Rope Street was excellent for food.

Great value apartment
No 7 is a very well appointed apartment in an excellent location in Skipton. The canal frontage provides views of the passing narrowboats and a short walk along the canal footpath quickly gets you into the town centre. The apartment is comfortable with modern facilities and comfortable seating and beds. We have used this apartment several times and can highly recommend it.

Excellent choice for peaceful canalside living, easy walking to the centre of town & out into the co
Location was fabulous
Towels could be larger and softer as they were quite small and were quite rough/hard.
Queen size bed would be better in main bedroom. Double is too small and the cover was too small for the size of the bed.

Beautiful apartment in peaceful location but within easy reach of all Skipton’s amenities.
Had everything we needed for our stay and having private parking was a real bonus. The apartment was sparkling clean when we arrived and was so comfortable to spend time in. Would highly recommend and hopefully will return next year.

A great location for a holiday.
Beautiful and very peaceful location with barges passing frequently on canal.
Key collection instructions should have given information to reach canalside via small pedestrian gate to side of property.

excellent! we will be back!
beautiful property! very well maintained, excellent facilities, wish we could have stayed here longer!
the property itself was excellent! it was a bit of a walk into town with kids along a very wet muddy path along the canal - next time we come to Skipton we will hire a car. but the property itself we can’t fault! loved our stay.

Lovely break. Can't wait to come back !!
We loved the location over looking the canal with a direct access onto the canal towpath, Drinks in the garden with boats and people passing.
The view of the canal is obscured by the bushes and foliage in front of the fence. This needs to be maintained at fence level for best views.

Lovely apartment on the canal!
This was a beautiful quiet apartment, very comfortable and extremely well kitted out. It was perfect for us. We walked along the tow path to Skipton but there are two buses that stop nearby. Lovely to watch the narrow boats passing by!

Relaxing winter break
The apartment was nice and warm with plenty of seating and a dinner table. The kitchen was also very well equipped with lots of plates and utensils, Dolce gusto coffee machine was a bonus. The Bathroom was a little small but perfectly fine for the 2 of us, plus there was the luxury of having a bath, Good location within easy walking distance to the centre of Skipton along the towpath. Plus there are lots of good quality places to eat in Skipton. We will definitely be back.
Bigger towels would have been nicer.

A lovely stay in this wonderful apartment next to the canal!
The apartment is very warm and comfortable and extremely well kitted out - everything you need is there and there is even a washing machine! The location is excellent, right on the canal about a fifteen minute walk from the centre of town - or take the regular bus from the end of the street. We had a wonderful stay, thank you! This was our fourth visit and we will be back again for sure.
Sorry to mention this, but we felt that the towels were not very fresh and had a musty smell. Everything else was perfect thank you.

The property is located immediately next to the tow path of the Leeds Liverpool canal and around 3ǚ mile from Skipton centre, which was an absolutely ideal location for our leisure break. There are several walks in easy reach, and the train station is just a 10 minute walk away to travel a little further afield should you wish. The accommodation had everything we required and secure parking.
Struggling to find anything to criticise about the property.

Wonderful efficient heating system. Reserved parking space. Access to the canal path and walk into Skipton.
A new, more stable toilet seat. Clean the extractor fan.

Thank you for the review Jennifer, we do appreciate it.
We will pass on the feedback RE the toilet seat & extractor.
Overall it was great. Some better instructions for entering the unit would be helpful and maybe a drawing of the building to show the toe path, etc. Once we figured it out, it was fine, but a little confusing and frustrating initially.

Canalside stay
Space, cleanliness and well eqipped
I could turn the key in lobby door however found it impossible to open and one of the neighbours told me it is very difficult and one of the residents isn’t able to open it either. This meant carrying my bags round the building to access the apartment. I was then reluctant to use the secure car park as didn’t want to get locked into it so left my car in a visitor space for my stay

The apartment was very easy to find and semi-easy to get in once I had worked out how to open the key safe (instructions for this might be helpful and also that there are three gates into car park, initally we on ly saw 2). We did have issues opening the door from the canal into the lobby but another resident did let us through. The key would just not turn to open the lock. Every other time though the door had been left open. Presently I have knee issues and my one real big criticismmis getting in and out of the bath to shower. A couple of grab rails here would have been helped enormously. My poor husband had to support me. Initally we were disappointed not to see any passing canal boatslocal wildlife but this does depend on which direction the boats face as to which way they sail. Overall it is a great location with a lovely walk up into Skipton. lovely and clean, well kitted out and the owners/management company do not respond to any comments quickly.

From start to finish, the hosts have been amazing, very responsive.
From start to finish, the hosts have been amazing, very responsive. Clear guidelines around location and utilities. The property itself could not be in a better place, looking out onto the Leeds/Liverpool canal and a short walk into Skipton Town centre. Upon arrival, which was late due to a delayed flight. A lovely welcome pack and the added bonus of a Christmas Tree, was a very nice surprise. Number 7 is spotless. Everything is where the hosts said it would be. It is a lovely property. I will definitely be returning and compared to other properties I have stayed in, Number 7 stands way ahead in every category.
