Clean and comfortable with everything that might be needed. Convenienty placed for exploring.
Had a lovely stay here even though it was for work.
Clean comfortable house with everything needed, and especially parking.
Well situated for getting to work, getting out and about and also to local facilities.
Nice if limited views of the marina, and a very peaceful setting.
Would definitely stay again if available.

Brilliant
We have had an amazing stay here. There was everything you could need and more. The area is quite quiet and the neighbours we met are very friendly. The house is very comfortable and there were instructions left for everything which is a brilliant help. It’s definitely somewhere I would recommend.

Suited us down to the ground.
From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a great place to stay. Good parking, south facing garden and inside was perfect for us. Great range of facilities inside, very modern also quality fixtures and fittings. Nice comfy King size bed and lovely soft towels.
We had a great stay on the island we were lucky with the weather though. Lovely Mum and daughter next door who told us some new places to go.

Fantastic
Fantastic location with easy access by foot or car to the ferry. Easy to walk to a couple of local pubs and shops and also bus stops.
Space inside was lovely and decorated so it's nice and light. The beds were super comfortable - I wish I could've taken it home with us!
The garden was just perfect, a lovely suntrap and spot to watch the sunset each evening.
The inclusion of towels, some dishwasher tablets, hand soap etc made it really easy to just turn up and settle for the first night.
We were very impressed with the facilities in the house. The only thing I could fault is nothing to do with the owner but with the house design. Power points and light switches in unusual positions. A power point near the main table would have helped.

Good location for marina
We have enjoyed staying a this home for the last two years, for the convivence of location.
What I have been disappointed with is the lack of basic provisions such as a basic hand wash in the bath rooms, a full toilet roll to start us off, lack of dish washer tablets, and extra pillows in the twin room and no welcome pack even a basic one with a small milk and a couple of tea bags. especially with the cost of accommodation.
We would happily use Island home again to book a stay again, fabulous service, took all the stress out of booking ferry etc

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and have taken note of your comments.
We are not in the habit of providing a welcome pack…..however we will ensure that loo rolls etc are adequately provided and that extra pillows will be available in the twin spare room.

Perfect place for a base to tour IOW
With it's proximity to the ferry port, town, pubs restaurants and coast, this is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Isle of Wight. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable, homely - the garden is a sun trap and private, and the parking is a bonus. Everything that you could possibly need is provided, whether you are planning on eating out every day or cooking a roast dinner...the house is clearly somebody's much loved and used holiday home, so no expense is spared on the furniture or equipment.
Access was simple and uncomplicated, the photos advertising the property are an excellent representation of the reality. East Cowes was a great place to stay with easy access (via either private or public transport) to all parts of the island from here. Would highly recommend both Island holiday homes and this property.

Great family space
Great property that's very well equipped. Lovely garden area too. 2 spacious bedrooms and a downstairs loo which wasn't described in our information so was a great bonus. We were attending a sailing event in West Cowes and the chain ferry is quickly accessible from here. It was disappointing though to be able to see East Cowes marina but to be blocked off by a big black iron fence, the walk round to access the marina and the lifeboat pub seemed tedious when you could see if from the house. We had friends staying in the marina so made the walk often. Parking directly in front of the back gate to the property. Big public park behind the house which was great for letting the dog run. Noisy neighbors in the block of flats opposite but not much you can do about them.
The kitchen was fabulously supplied with everything you'd need to cook. Waitrose was also only a 5 minute drive away. Spotlessly clean throughout and great they supplied a hoover so we could do a mid week clean seen as we had a dog with us. Both bedrooms the same size and nice and big.
Would definitely stay again if in the area, thank you!
