This little beauty is one for romantics or a smaller family, a very sweet cottage hidden away overlooking, Holkham Estate farmland and set peacefully in the rolling Norfolk countryside, a very short drive to the coast at Wells-next-the-Sea.

This pretty semi-detached, flint ex-farmworkers cottage is a must for those seeking the best of country and coastal life. It comes with lovely far-reaching views over the Holkham Estate to the front and rear. With gorgeously organic and natural décor throughout using treasured finds, this is a calm and tranquil escape that boasts a cosy sitting/dining room with a wood burning stove and sofa made for curling up on with a good book, a high-end galley kitchen equipped with all the essentials to make the most of the delicious local produce North Norfolk has to offer and a fabulous master bedroom where you can laze in bed taking in the rural views.

Upstairs you'll find the large master bedroom with a super-comfy super-king size bed and vintage rocking chair, where you can relax on a morning and simply take in the views. A second smaller bedroom with views to the rear features a double-size lower bunk bed with single bunk bed above. Being a traditional cottage, there is a fairly steep Norfolk winder staircase. At the top of this there is a small snug reading room for children (or adults even) to enjoy, although head height in this small area is restricted. Bathing is taken care of with the pretty downstairs bathroom featuring a luxurious rain shower over a small French-style tub bath.

Outside there is plenty of garden which children and a dog will adore. With lavender, natural hedges and dreamy countryside views, you can enjoy al fresco dining at the table and chairs perfectly positioned for enjoying the surroundings. Relax with a glass of wine at the back of the garden and soak up the beautiful sunsets over the Holkham Estate. There is also an outbuilding with plenty of storage for paddle boards and bikes. Parking for two to three cars is to the front of the cottage. There is no passing traffic except the occasional tractor so you should just hear the bird song.

With the Real Ale Shop, Walsingham Farm Shop, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea only a short drive (or cycle) away, this place is very well-located, yet feels right off-the-beaten-track. Set in the pretty hamlet of Branthill which is surrounded by farmland, this beautiful part of north Norfolk is brimming with so much countryside to explore, whilst being in easy reach of the sandy beaches at Wells and Holkham.

Holkham Skies is also available to book for two guests, with use of just the master bedroom.
