Nice little apartment with garden view window, kitchenette, living room, everything you need. In great location, close to everything. I would recommend it. The door lock situation was a little difficult, but worked out ok.

Beautiful property in a great location, just around the corner from the castle. It was clean and well presented inside. Only issues were the pillows were uncomfortable and people above were loud at nights.
We loved the apartment and its location on a quiet mews lane close to the tram line. The one drawback was the electronic key; the first one didn't work, and our internet (EE) signal wasn't strong enough in the mews to contact the property manager -- had to go to the main street to call & to get the replacement key. If you need to launder, be advised that the dryer is very slow; plan to start it the night before you check out.

Great location
The location and accessibility for my husband who has mobility issues was great. The tram and buses are just a couple of minutes walk away as is Sainsbury’s local and other shops like Boots. On the down side one of the kitchen chairs was rickety and the kitchen cupboard doors were ill fitting so you needed to be careful turning on the dishwasher and washing machine. We did miss the personal touch of an owner but the agency looking after the property were easy to contact. I would rather have a key than the electronic door opening which was a bit up and down. It would be good to leave written copies of manuals for those who don’t wish to have to look them up online when there are issues with heating and appliances. Perhaps a visitors’ book with up to date recommendations for restaurants etc would be good as well. We had a good tip from an Edinburgh friend to go to Dalry road to try the restaurants. We had a great meal at Mia Italian Kitchen there.
Considering we were booked in for nearly six weeks…in two periods I feel at least one clean per stay should have been included. We were given one complimentary clean but keeping in mind we had no discount for long stays that was disappointing.

This flat was newly & very nicely renovated which was the best part. Unfortunately, I ended up sleeping on the couch as the bed was very uncomfortable and I awoke with back pain the two nights I slept in it. The next 7 nights I slept on the couch. For the cost of this flat the bed needs updating! A couple of other suggestions: could use a corkscrew and something that will work in the microwave to heat food (dishes have silver rims). Overall, the location is excellent & space is comfortable but would not stay again unless that bed is corrected.
