Grassmarket apartment with views to Edinburgh Castle - two bedrooms

Situated in the heart of the Old Town the Grassmarket area changes with the differing hours of the days. From cosmopolitan cafe dining to a more lively night life area you will never be too far away from the action and places of interest to visit. All major tourist attractions within easy walking distance.
The apartment is on the third floor (top) and is cosy and warm. We do not accept stag/hen nights or large groups of party guests.

Good views from the rear bedroom up to Edinburgh Castle. Good views to the front over the activity space normally used for Street shoes to the front.
Lovely tastefully done up flat inside.

Great location

Two days in Edenburgh and this was the best location. Close to the castle and numerous shops, restaurants, and bars! Accommodations were perfect for family of four. Would recommend and would stay again! Listing is accurate in that the stairs can be tricky with large luggage as it is three flights up a winding stairway. We managed with our carryons and backpacks.

Graduation weekend

Fabulous two night stay to celebrate our daughter’s university graduation. Derek, our host, was incredibly helpful and we loved this two bed apartment with views over historic Grassmarket. We ate out but the kitchen was well stocked and very spacious. The location is bustling and can be noisy at night but worth it for being in such an iconic part of Old Town.

Can’t beat the location!!

Fantastic apartment, in the heart of the city. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs literally at your doorstep. Also a quick walk to the royal mile. The castle can be seen from the bedroom windows!! The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. From location, to the condition of the property, to the small details such as biscuits, tea and milk we had an absolutely delightful stay! I would highly recommend here - such an excellent location close to everything and really great communication.

The flat is beautiful and the location is great. However, behind the flat there is a large garbage and storage area used by the restaurants, which caused a lot of noise at night and kept us from sleeping on several occasions. The restaurant staff are also not very strict about keeping the gate locked, which led to people blocking the stairs and smoking and drinking in front of the entrance. This is not acceptable given the price paid for the flat. The check-in process was quite easy, although we had some trouble finding the parking spot with the map provided.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Make sure you are able to climb 3 flights of rock steps to get to apartment but well worth the climb. Very convenient to walking around the royal mile.

Great location in the heart of old Edinburgh. Dozens of great restaurants and a short walk to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh castle. My wife and I and our 2 adult children were very comfortable in this charming apartment with many modern features. We will return!

Great flat. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location to the Old Town and Edinburgh Castle is awesome. Very comfortable perched above the Grassmarket and close to shops, restaurants and sights. Recommended.

Great Location!

Great location on the Grassmarket. Restaurants and bars right there. A little loud at night with the windows open because of the bars recycling glass. This is a walk up three stories of steps. We liked the place, location and cleanliness. Easy process.
