The two-storey Villa Verde has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two large living rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people.

For anyone looking for a taste of the Italian Dolce Vita, this villa is perfect.

The riches of Sardinia are immense and satisfy all palates. There are hills, there is ancient architecture, there is the best wine in Italy and there is a wonderful, crystal clear sea and unspoilt beaches.

But the dolce vita doesn't end here, because high up on a hill overlooking the sea and the town of Alghero is Villa Verde , an exclusive use villa with a spectacular view and an exclusive use swimming pool set in the surrounding countryside.

With no other buildings nearby, you can enjoy a slice of Sardinia all to yourself.

Villa Verde is a two-storey villa for your exclusive use, consisting of five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Each floor of the villa has its own living room with television, sofas and large verandas.
Outside there are covered verandas and a private pool. Behind the covered veranda there is a barbecue, which can be used for barbecues with friends and family.

The villa can accommodate up to 12 people.

Situated on the hillside behind Alghero, it has a wonderful view of the countryside. The silence that surrounds it, its lush garden, the swimming pool, the waterfall and the view make this villa a unique place.

The villa is suitable for children and has air conditioning and a stable WI.FI connection. There is ample private parking in the villa.

The villa was wonderful, perfectly suited to our needs with the pool a particular highlight. The layout of the rooms and balconies was perfect and the air conditioning very effective. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were able to cater for 6 adults and five children very easily.

Poorly managed property

We stayed here with 10 people and while the property manager was very responsive, there were many issues with the home - major ants everywhere, the water turned off throughout the day because of the heat, the cleanliness was visibly lacking and the house itself had a lot of dog hair and was quite unimpressive. The only positive thing was the location close to Alghero

We would like to clarify a few points for the sake of transparency: The house is exactly as shown in the photos and is regularly cleaned and inspected before every check-in. The presence of some ants in the garden area is unfortunately common in rural settings, especially when trash is not disposed of properly or food is left outdoors — as was the case during your stay. Regarding the temporary water outage, it was due to a short municipal interruption by the city of Alghero, which was beyond our control. That said, we responded immediately and activated the villa’s private cistern system, restoring water within minutes. As for cleanliness, the house was delivered in perfect condition, and any concerns should have been reported upon arrival so we could address them promptly — as we always do. We're glad you appreciated the location and our responsiveness. We remain committed to offering high-quality hospitality and regret that this review, seemingly left out of frustration, does not reflect our efforts nor the true state of the home. Family trip for our sons wedding

Where to begin with this amazing Villa. From the ease of the check in process with the later than expected arrival time to the ease of the check out everything was 5+ stars. We were a family of 12 with ages ranging from seven months to 96 staying at this Villa, for our son’s wedding. We have used Maria and Click Sardinia in the past and will continue to use her in the future. This Villa is by far one of the best we have stayed in and it is true that we have stayed in many. It is extremely well equipped with every thing you could need to cook at home and have a wonderful family time. The pool is beautifully kept , the house was clean and comfortable and as we are huge foodies, we love to cook big family meals and we lacked for nothing. The weather was beautiful, but the last two days were hot and the Aircon worked absolutely perfectly. The beds were comfortable and even the 94 year olds slept like babies. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us as it does feel like a home, not a rental property. We will be back for sure and hope to rent this or another fabulous Villa through Click Sardinia - I highly recommend both. Thank you again to Sandra who made our stay easy and comfortable. She was a great resource for all Alghero, including taxis, sailing excursions, and meals at the Villa for 12. Thanks also to Maria again for allowing us the opportunity to rent from you. As a large family of 7 adults and 4 children we were very happy here. Plenty of shaded terraces, stunning, clean pool and area. Very comfortable beds. Some indoor/outdoor furniture could do with updating but very well equipped kitchen. We would love to return!

Superbe villa

Grande villa avec piscine sécurisée située à 5 min d'Alghero. Nous avons passé une semaine avec 6 adultes et 5 enfants et n'étions pas du tout à l'étroit. Tout le nécessaire est présent sur place: linge , jeux de plage/ piscine pour enfants, glacière (très pratique en Sardaigne) et parasol. La climatisation marche très bien dans toutes les chambres. La maison était très propre à notre arrivée et le check in et check out avec Liz a été super rapide. Seul petit hic: le rez de chaussé sent la moisissure de temps et temps mais au moins il fait plus frais ! Je recommande vivement.

Schöne Lage, großer Pool

Alles stimmte, das Haus ist geräumig, gut ausgestattet, WLAN, Pool ist das Beste. Empfang durch Liz war reibungslos, sie spricht perfekt englisch. Einen initialen Stromausfall liess sie sofort beheben. eine nach 3 Tagen verstopften Abfluss wurde ebenfalls am Tag des MEldens abends bereits behoben. Sie geben sich alle Mühe. Einzig die Ameisen sind wirklich eine Plage!!! Obschon wir 3 Frauen jeden Tag draussen auf der Terasse u selbstverständlich drinnen saugten und putzten, nmarschierten sie nachts in 2 der unteren Schlafzimmer durch das geschlossene (!) Fenster über die Deckenwand in die Betten beider Zimmer, in denen wir schliefen. Wir hatten ausdrücklich NICHT in den Zimmern gegessen und eine Unmenge Ameisenspray gebraucht. Die Tiere beissen nicht und sind harmlos, aber wer will schon Ameisenstrassen über die Deckenwand und am Hals laufen haben beim Erwachen??? da sollte ein Kammerjäger rein. Daher nur 4 von 5 Sternen denn sonst passte alles (Preisleistung, Lage, Freundlichkeit der vorabinfos und vorort Betreuung spitze).

Our little bit of paradise!

This is our 6th visit to this gorgeous home. On arrival we were met with really warm welcome from the housekeeper. The house as always is spotlessly clean. It is extremely spacious with a large downstairs sitting area leading off to the bedrooms and bathrooms, continue up the large winding staircase to the upstairs with a large lounge with comfortable sitting area. Outside there is a gorgeous wraparound terrace with ample outside seating. Then a few steps up to the most beautiful pool area with sun loungers and umbrellas. The pool is secured by a gate at the bottom of the steps beside the house which is a great safety feature for wee ones. A large house which easily accomodates 15-16 people. Beautiful bathrooms with plenty of showering facilities and toilets. Most of the sleeping accommodation is downstairs but on first level has a large double bedroom with convient bathroom beside it. A car is a must for visiting Alghero and it's beautiful beaches and this house is a short distance from the centre of Alghero where you will find an abundance if fabulous restaurants. Located about a kilometre away is a fantastic bakery and a really well stocked supermarket with plenty of fresh produce and an excellent fish and meat counter just crying out to be barbequed on the house's amazing barbeque! Relax with a glass of local rose as you wait for the charcoal to be ready! Highly recommend visiting the local vineyards and farms that offer fantastic produce. Don't miss visiting the caves, a great day trip you can either drive to it but we got a boat cruise to the attraction. We have also hired a boat on a couple of occasions which is a great way of exploring the island if you have a sailor in your family! This house and island is a firm family favourite and we love returning here each year.

Spacious and comfy with excellent location

Perfect villa for extended family get together or two families holidaying together. This was our second stay and did not disappoint. Liz gave us a warm welcome helping us with a very late arrival (1.30am!) due to delays. It was very hot but the airconditioning worked so well we only needed it to top up occasionally as the house is so spacious with a magnificent wrap around terrace that we could always find a cool or quiet spot. Easy to get around with supermarkets within less than 5 minutes drive. Restaurants as good as remembered. Peak season so beaches were crowded so get there early! We could still park in Alghero tho. Pool remains the star - excellent size and magnificent views and plenty of sunbathing space. Villa is very well equipped with everything that one would need. Lots of things to do and see. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful house

Modern, well equipped, very spacious house with a delightful pool that is easily big enough for a family of twelve. Easy and short car journey to Alghero for supermarket etc. We ‘ate in’ most of the time. The only negative was that we had to get rid of any rubbish we created ourselves, which meant carting rubbish bags to a recycling centre,but that appeared to be the way in Sardinia.

Wir hatten mit 9 Personen ausreichend Platz. Einige Tage verbrachten wir am Pool, der sehr großzügige Ausmaße hat. Lediglich im Außenbereich hatten wir mit einem Ameisenproblem zu kämpfen. Terrasse musste jeden Tag mit Wasser gesäubert werden.

Airy villa with a great view

Villa Calvia is a spacious, well designed home with an equally fantastically well equipped kitchen and superb dining areas. The Villa however is very hard to locate if arrival is after dark and Liz’s partner ended up driving to the end of the drive to meet us on full beam (to be fair - this often happens when we first try to locate our Italian holiday villas - but especially so after dark) The villa has far reaching views and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous - just lovely. The beaches nearby are super, with crystal clear waters. The restaurants in Alghero are wonderful and the locals are warm and welcoming. ( Liz, when realising we would be late to arrive very kindly offered to buy in some provisions on our behalf - which was great) The wildlife is wonderful, with eagles nesting just above the villa. The only downside to our week’s stay was that we were unable to use the pool for most of the week, after finding a dead rat in the pool on two consecutive days, which was a shame as the pool is a fabulous size.

Einfach alles Perfekt

Wir waren eine Woche im Oktober in der Villa mit 12 Personen und verbrachten einen wunderbaren Motorradurlaub auf Sardinien. Das Haus ist vollumfänglich eingerichtet super sauber und nur 4 Minuten von der wunderbaren Stadt Alghero entfernt. Der Pool ist wunderschön, die Übergabe vor Ort einfach alles problemlos und toll !

Brilliant property -easily big enough for 3 families

We had a lovely stay, 6 adults and 6 kids of various ages. Plenty of space inside and outside the property. Pool was great. Beautiful 'mountain' backdrop. Only a few minutes drive to supermarkets, pizza shops - very convenient. Hosts were very helpful. Really lovely spacious place. Would recommend.

Nice house outside of Alghero

We had two nice weeks in the house outside Alghero. About 5 minutes to the old town center and 10 minutes to beautiful beaches. Our favorite was Lazzaretto! The pool was large and was regularly serviced by staff. Very nice! Our kids loved it. The pool was also deep in some part so they could practise diving. There are comfortable beds and the kitchen is well equipped. The terrace was lovely. We spend a lot of times there, it was wonderful. We had a little problem with the dinner plates, they did not work in the dishwasher because they were too big. Car is necessary. The house is located near a large, busy road. This was negative because we would have liked to go for a run in the surroundings, but there was no opportunity for that. We had problems with loads of ants during our stay. We bought poison on our own and it gave some effect. Wi-Fi was limited to 10GB (two weeks) which was not enough for us.
