The Neighborhood:
The cottage is located next to the historic Ship Inn, nestled in the heart of the beautiful sailing village of Itchenor. Being an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the location provides the perfect pitstop for walkers enjoying the nearby coastal footpaths and cyclists navigating the Salterns Way, which travels from Chichester to West Wittering via Itchenor Village.

Take a short walk (160 meters) to the seafront/estuary where you can catch the Ferry to Bosham. Being close to the picturesque Chichester Harbour, it is also popular with local sailors or those staying on visitors' mooring.

Come down to the pub and taste some locally sourced, fresh food, along with a selection of fine ales.

Getting Around:
A car will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful West Sussex area. As you already know, we offer a free parking spot.

But having your vehicle is by no means essential, as there's plenty that you can reach on foot or by bike if you need to. And your hosts will let you know about the best cab companies to use in the area if you want someone else to do the driving.
