there were only 2 nights left at this property for August so we were glad to stay at this well-equipped place whilst visiting local attractions for a 75th birthday get together.
Stunning, loved the location and the amenities provided by the host. The house was fresh and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely try this house again should we ever visit North Wales again.
the house was clean, and bright. the kitchen facility was well stocked with coffee, tea, spices, cutlery, dishes and pots & pans. the house is very comfortable a real home away from home. Loved every minute.
Wonderful, spacious home with everything you need! This house is a wonderful place to stay to visit the local area. We stayed here to climb Snowdon which was 30mins to PenYPass. The house has everything you need and more. Host has thought of everything including games, iron, hairdryer and much more! We would definitely stay again.
Wonderful home, very clean and lots of room for our family. Easy walking distance to laundry, groceries, restaurants and entertainment. Would highly recommend this home. Awesome host...friendly and explained everything very well. You can't go wrong staying here!
Perfect for a short stay during our daughter's exam period. Great location for us, loads of room to spread out, everything you'd need for a short - or longer - stay. Nice to have some milk waiting for us, and the Welsh cakes were yummy!! Thanks Matt!

Lovely old house, nicely presented with additional extras like coffee tea sugar ,plus tennis and badminton rackets etc.
We enjoyed the house and we're glad to be able to wash our clothes since we were on a 14 day vacation and this stay was in the middle. He has some tea and coffee and milk in the fridge. Matt worked with us when VRBO and us had a snag in our reservation. We were able to cook a couple dinners in the kitchen. He also has an iron which was helpful since we were there for a wedding and needed it.
House was perfect for our stay.
Quiet small residential area.
Like a tardis inside. Big rooms upstairs and downstairs, but very comfortable.
Owner had left little touches - tea/coffee etc and toiletries.
Great communication from Matt.
Great for exploring the area and for visiting the university.
Highly recommend
We had a brilliant time at this property, very clean and all the amenities we could have needed, everything as per listing

About the host
Hosted by Matthew Bixby
Hi I am Matt. I have lived in North Wales for nearly 20 years now and absolutely love the countryside, beaches and mountains! If you do too, this is the place to come!
Why they chose this property
I have had this house for nearly 10 years and it is perfectly located for all the amenities in Bangor, the bus and train station (mainline link to London), the mountains of Snowdonia and the wonderful countryside and beaches of Anglesey.
What makes this property unique
The lovely suntrap seating in the area is a lovely place to relax looking at the local park. The convenience of Bangor and being able to pop over the bridge to Menai Bridge and Beaumaris to sample all of the lovely pubs and restaurants there is great!
