Pleasant Stay

Had a lovely stay at Spring Cottage, the area was beautiful and the Ebrington Arms was a great pub to have some food in the evening. Cottage itself was very cosy and would highly recommend. However the only downside was I did not appreciate being kicked off the WiFi 4 hours before the time of departure? Being a tourist in the area and the terrible network signal there, no WiFi made our next part of the journey a rather unnecessary headache.

Gorgeous cosy cottage

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, it looks like something out of “The Holiday” and is so cosy inside. The bedding and towels etc were all really high quality and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. We loved our time there and will definitely be back - highly recommend!

Fantastic and comfortable cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cabin in the Cotswolds! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home, and we quickly fell in love with the amazing Aga kitchen, which became our go-to spot for cooking delicious meals. One of the standout features of this property is its delightful patio, which offers a perfect oasis for relaxation. Surrounded by lush trees, the ambiance is incredibly serene, making it an ideal spot for reading quietly or enjoying meals outdoors. The patio is spacious and well-maintained, with comfortable seating that invites you to unwind. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or indulging in a leisurely dinner under the stars, the natural setting enhances the experience, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Exploring the nearby villages was incredibly relaxing, and we particularly enjoyed our time in Bourton-on-the-Water. The picturesque canals added to the beauty of the area, and visiting the model village was a delightful experience for both children and adults alike. Overall, this cabin is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended!

Beautiful cottage in beautiful Cotswold village

Spring cottage was a perfect cosy cottage for our stay in the Cotswolds. Loved the log fire, aga and comfy beds and our meal in the Ebrington arms was great. Our walks into Chipping Campden were picturesque and easy. We are returning to Ebrington in the new year - sadly Spring cottage is not available or we would have booked it!

Lovely cottage, perfect location

This is a perfect cottage superbly well appointed. Clean, bright and in keeping with the style of the Cotswolds. Ebrington is ideally situated and an easy drive to all the popular towns and villages. The local inn is good for food and there are many gastro type pubs around the area. Loved it. The weather helped too.

A pretty cottage in a lovely village.

This is a very quaint and sweet cottage. Our hope was to experience living in a village in a pretty cottage, and this property certainly delivers. It's away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more well-known Cotswold sites, but it was exactly what we here hoping for. It would have been helpful to have manuals available, but we managed to figure most things out (cooker, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer combo) with online searches. A guide to working the TV wasn't needed, but we saw notes written in the back of the visitor comment book. We followed the "no shoes" policy strictly, but it appears many before us had not, as the rugs need a good vacuuming/cleaning (might be just the wear and tear of a very busy summer rental season). We let the host know that we needed to vacuum upon arrival, but did not receive a response. The kitchen was well-equipped, fluffy towels were provided, and the log burner was a favorite aspect. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the bathrooms are modern and bright. It was warm while we were there, so we didn't need underfloor heating, but imagine it is a very popular feature on colder days/nights. The nearby pub serves great food, and the farm market just outside of town is fantastic (both the cafe and the store/butcher shop). The village church was welcoming and we enjoyed attending their services.

Short break

Beautiful property, very well equipped. Just be very careful of the small step from the kitchen to the hallway. Maybe put a fluecent strip along it, just to remind people that it's there? Other than that we had a perfect stay.

Beautiful cottage in a picturesque village

Spring Cottage had everything we needed, and more! The kitchen had everything you needed and the Aga kept the house nice and warm. All the rooms were cosy and there was plenty of room for all five of us. There is a fab pub a minute walk up the road which I would highly recommend. Communication from the owners before we arrived made it easy to check in and they left simple explanations about the house which were handy. We were there for a wedding at Lapstone barn which was a short drive away. I would love to come back to the cottage at some point in the future.

Weekend Stay

Stay Cottages customer comms was spot on, probably the best I’ve experienced, with all the right info landing in your inbox/text messages at just the right time, so if you’re a ‘busy bee’ you don’t need to trawl back through emails to find ‘the key box code’ it appears just before you need it. As for Spring Cottage, it was delightful inside and out; plenty of room for 5 of us, spotlessly clean, very well appointed, well equipped and in a great location for exploring the Cotswold towns and villages. Loved the Aga, don’t be put off by it if you’ve never experienced one, great instructions and really easy to cook on/in! It does make the house quite warm though, so if it is warm outside opening windows was a must! Would thoroughly recommend.

Comfortable Cottage in a Pretty and Convenient Location

Such a peaceful, clean and well equipped cottage with a really helpful e-mail from the owner beforehand giving us some really useful tips. The information from Stay Cotswolds was generic and not helpful. It would have been much better to have some information that was tailored specifically to the property in question. A good start would have been some directions on how to get there - the What Three Words system did not help. I also felt that the property was a little expensive.

First trip to England

My husband and I took our first trip to England, staying in beautiful Cotswolds. We rented a Spring Cottage in Ebringham and what a fabulous cottage it was. The updates to this historic cottage are thoughtfully done, maintaining its rich heritage and sense of place with modern comfort. It has everything you need to cook (on an Aga!) do laundry and relax in the garden. The village is lovely, walkable, with a friendly pub nearby. We highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the Cotswolds.

A lovely cottage, in an idyllic billage

The cottage was charming and exceptionally comfortable, situated in the idyllic village of Ebrington—an ideal location for a relaxing stay. One point to note is the small step into the kitchen, which could benefit from clearer visibility, as all members of our group stumbled on it at some point, and unfortunately my wife experienced a particularly unpleasant fall. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would not hesitate to recommend the property to others.

Really nice home, great location, would return for sure!

Clean and well kept home- attentive owner sharing info prior to stay was a plus. Location is lovely- Ebrington is a small lovely little piece of calmness. Stairs are steep inside so be careful but totally navigable. Water pressure and hot water available was great. Didn’t use the Aga but loved the Aga. So cool and enjoyed looking at the books and learning about it!! Would return!

We found Spring Cottage a wonderful place to live and a center to plan and explore the Cotswolds.

We, my wife, our friends and myself enjoyed very much our stay at Spring Cottage. We found the cottage in all regards an excellent place, it really was a home away from home. All rooms: the sitting room, the dining hall, the bedrooms and the kitchen are of a high standard. Ebrington is a quiet village, a good place for relxing holidays, the pub is a typical English meeting place, nearby Chipping Campden an interesting historic market town. A very personal remark: I was happy to be in the Cotswolds again after many years when I was a language assistent for German at Prince Henry's Grammar School in Evesham for a year. Now I am a retired headmaster of a German Grammar School.

A very comfortable and relaxing stay.

I had booked Spring Cottage as a surprise weekend away for my partners 50th birthday. From the location to the quaint Cottage made it feel very special. The warm feeling you get when you enter the Cottage from the aga made us feel cosy. We visited some really lovely places and met some wonderful people. We are looking to return in the summer.

Such a lovely place, just needs a couple of refreshes

Overall I'd give this 4 out of 5, we've been here before about 5 years ago and had a lovely time, it's much the same here. Just assume that everything else is great in terms of comfort and cleanliness, apart from the following: - The downstairs shower really could do with having the mastic replaced as it's mouldly now (and the showerhead needs a really thorough descale). It's not terrible, but when everything else is so good, it stands out. - There were a few really big, thick cobwebs around the beams and in the fireplace, which is a bit disconcerting as it makes you think the rest of the cleaning might not be up to snuff - which doesn't seem to be the case, but it does make you question it. - The upstairs bathroom floor tiles have been cracked since we'd last been, I would have expected these to be fixed by now. - The heating schedule needs to be amended, it's so cold upstairs overnight - it's a obviously a old cottage with single glazing, but that heating schedule could be set to compensate. It's set to 18 during the day and 15 overnight, I fettled it a bit (and reset it at the end of our stay) which did help, but you really need to have it set about 20 at night, which in reality will be about 17 upstairs before it kicks in). I'd definitely go back, so none of the above would put me off.

Weekend break

We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful extremely well kept cottage and will definitely return. The one thing that sticks a little, I work in a hotel and find a check in time of 5pm and check out of 10am is a little unfair. In a hotel it would be 3pm arrival and 12 noon departure I understand we have a large team to clean but I feel 4pm and 11am would be fairer for the price. However saying that we were confirmed a later check out which we very much appreciated. The Ebrington Arms at the top of the road is a must visit to eat - especially Sunday lunch.
