Welcome to Azure Beach House - Detached beach house, ideal for couples or a family with young children (perfect for a family of 5) - part of The Bay Filey holiday village - with pool and beach access nearby!

Detached beach house, ideal for couples or a family with young children
Azure Beach House is located in the centre of the village, close to the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre. Enjoy a spacious south facing terrace with long dog leads for your favourite friends to relax in the sun!

Enter Azure Beach House through the step free door into the hallway with storage for shoes and coats. To your left are the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, and the second bedroom with two single beds. These can be pushed together to make a king should you wish this. (two single duvets etc provided). There is also another shower room with jack-and-jill doors. Please note There is a sofa bed in the lounge - we can provide the bedding for this - please let us know prior to arrival and choose this as an extra.

To the right is the open-plan kitchen / dining / lounge space with new sofa(s) (including sofa bed in 2023) and SMART TV (with Netflix, amazon prime, Apple TV etc - bring your own logins). Exit through the large bifold doors to the deck with seating, ideal for alfresco dining or sitting out whilst the children play outside. The lounge has a sofa bed which can be used to sleep 5 comfortably in the property.

We leave a few games for our guests to use. The log burner makes this beach house warm and cosy for breaks all year round.

Azure Beach House.

This was the second time we have stayed in Azure Beach House and would definitely visit again. Beach within walking distance, dog friendly bar & restaurant.

Fab short break

Recently stayed here and would definitely recommend to others. Ideal location near the beach but also handy for day trips. Have stayed at the Bay before but prefer this beach hut style accommodation. Good facilities and clean. Perfect for a little seaside break.

Peaceful week away

A lovely place to stay- accommodation clean and comfortable ample kitchen utensils even a hoover(. Necessary in a pet friendly accommodation) very peaceful location. Large bedrooms with en-suites. Short walk to the beach which is dog friendly through the site. Had a lovely week away. Good communications through email- text by the host even after our holiday.

A Great Location

Chose Anchor Bay on a recommendation and we were delighted with the Azure Beach house having looked at the varying options of accommodation on site. A great location for the local beach and to explore further afield. A return visit and longer stay is definitely on the cards.

5th to 9th August

Had a very pleasant break. Two adults and our boxer dog. Accommodation suited our needs perfectly. Very clean and well maintained, all appliances that might be needed were provided. The information pack is comprehensive and well written. Would be happy to book again.

Excellent stay at the Bay

Very good accommodation at Azure Beach House Very clean comfortable and well equipped and nicely decorated We needed the log burner one night as it was very cold and the heating was off and difficult to control or put back on , we felt it was set to go off too early in the evening and the bedroom felt cold also, but apart from that all was good

Great stay clean and tidy

I would recommend without doubt Great little weekend stay in a great location House was clean and tidy and had all the facilities you want for a comfortable stay The garden furniture is well past its sell by date and isn’t inviting particularly on warm days. Having said that this isn’t unique to this house most on the bay need garden furniture replacing

Wonderful holiday

Just had a wonderful holiday at Azure beach house. Everything you need, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, log burner. Spacious ensuite bedrooms.. Leisure centre. Not commercialised just pub with lovely meals, shop, family room. Walks down to amazing beach, dog loved it. Nice walks. The whole complex has mixture of accommodation and well maintained Will certainly go back

Family Christmas Break

Azure beach had everything we needed . The lodge was lovely , just what we wanted for our Christmas . Even had a tree ! Everything was spotless and the communication has been second to none . My only slight critic would be we found the bed uncomfortable, but each to their own . Other than that we'll definitely recommend and be back. Thank you for making our stay fantastic!

Review of Azure Beach House

Thank you Anthony fot our lovely winter break at Azure Beach everything was clean and very welcoming when we arrived. We dropped on with some lovely sunny days was able to take our little dog on the beach which I couldn't fault. The only thing I would say Is just to be careful when walking over the decking to the front door as it was very slippy. would definitely book again location is very good for getting around We had a day in Whitby and Scarborough . Thankou again.

Not what I expected

On arriving here I wondered where the beach and pool was has I was told they were close to the accommodation and they wasn't opened the door to loads of flies we had to go out and buy products they were everywhere we didn't want to ear in the property even though we had bought our own groceries and it wasn't has cleanness has I expected it to be I hoovered up myself and my dad had to unblock the sink in main bedroom it was blocked with hair the beds were comfortable and nice to have a washer and dishwasher but I wouldn't return was told we would get reimbursement but nothing

Thank you for your review. We do have to say this is most unfair and inaccurate and doesnt reflect the experience you had. Firstly we provide on our website at the point of booking a detailed overview of the beach and leisure facilities which describes the location of the properties to the leisure facilities. All the houses in the village are close to the pool (which is purpose built for the village) and there are four traffic free beach accesses from the village. At no point did we say you are close to the beach / pool - this is your mis-understanding. Secondly three weeks, one week and the day before you received 2 pdfs which show the beach access points and the pool location - both of which clearly show your accommodation and the access points. You cannot say that you wondered where the pool / beach were as these are local to the accommodation and you as a guest in the village have access to both. The property was cleaned thoroughly before your stay and you can see from previous reviews of this property it always gets 5* for cleanliness. The period you stayed there was a problem on the East coast with flies and we apologised to you that you had to vacuum up a few on arrival. You didn't ask us about the sink until after you had left and we would have sent a plumber to rectify this which was not blocked upon your arrival. We are glad you liked the sofa and beds. A delightful cosy place to stay, clean, comfortable and with all that’s needed for a self catering break/holiday. In a good location with easy access to the beach and a good base to be if you want to explore the other east coast resorts and surrounding villages. Would certainly book again.
