Directly bordering Pisgah National Forest at the Highway 276 gateway, Pilot Cove offers unrivaled access to Pisgah's renowned trails, roadways, rock walls, and trophy waters. No other accommodations get you closer to the trails unless you are camping in the forest.

Each modern cabin is architect designed to interact with nature while preserving guest privacy. Nothing like these exist in Western North Carolina! Fully appointed kitchens feature cherry cabinetry, rainforest green granite, and full sized stainless appliances. Each cabin features large covered back deck overlooking the forest, giving the feeling of a treehouse. Bathrooms are designed for private shower room and private water closet, allowing for multiple users at once. Custom artwork and furniture can be found throughout each cabin. Stackable washer / dryer is included in each mudroom entry.

Guests will have access to the entire cabin. In addition to hundreds of miles of nearby trails, guests have exclusive access to the Pilot Cove trail system, totaling over 2 miles on our 64 acre property directly bordering Pisgah National Forest. Trails are open for both mountain biking and hiking. We also have a 1/3 mile closed loop 'flow track' with wooden berm for guest mountain biking use.

Great little cabin trip

Not bad, the location was nice, the communication could have been better. The locks on the door are dangerous. They automatically lock (or do they)? we can back after an evening and the doors never locked. I never could find the wifi password. this is not a big deal.With a few minor changes this could be a great place to stay

The answers to all your questions are in the notebook in cabin. The doors lock automatically unless you turn the switch on the inside of the lock below the sign telling you not to turn the switch.

Relaxed and refreshed

Perfect mountain get away. We are close to restaurants, shopping and most importantly Dolly's a locate ice cream hot spot. Quick drive to Sliding rock and the falls or into town full of quaint shops and restaurants . As for our room they are spotless, the beds are extremely comfortable, better than the five star hotels we've stayed in over the years and the best sleep we've had this summer traveling. Nice to have the option of cooking in while enjoying your view from your deck. Not only will we stay here again, we will stay here every time we come to Brevard.

This was our second time at Pilot Cove and we were equally as impressed as the first time! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed! Super close to Dupont and Pisgah. We will definitely be returning again.

Perfect location

We stay in this cabin with my husband for the Thanksgiving holidays. Very cozy, clean place with a nice view. Perfect location to reach out the most picturesque trails and waterfalls. Cabin has all the things needed for comfortable stay. Nice escape for a couple!!! Recommend!

Modern cabin get away

Beautiful brand new property, minimalist decor, within walkimg distance to bike rentals and food. The hose on the front of the cabin was nice if you need to use it, I was not expecting a hammock but it was very nice and relaxing to use on the private back porch. It's right next to great places to eat, the ABC store and Wal-Mart, we actually saw a black bear on a hike in Pisgah Forest (not at the cabins). I loved that we could order pizza, the smart TV, the convenience of the forest being so close. It felt luxurious and private. We called the owner for directions because it's not on Google maps yet, he was very helpful and very nice. Definatly recommend.
