Rose and Rosemary is part of a carefully restored farmhouse measuring 170 square metres, nestled in the beautiful and fragrant Tuscan countryside. It is completely self-contained, accommodating up to 6 people, and is surrounded by a fully equipped, terraced garden that is always in bloom—allowing you to enjoy the birdsong beneath a beautiful grapevine pergola or cool off in the lovely swimming pool surrounded by olive trees, with a view overlooking the valley. The house is on two levels: on the ground floor, there is a romantic country kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare excellent meals, an elegant dining room featuring a beautiful tiled stove, a relaxing area with sofas, armchairs, and a large television, and finally a small bathroom. On the ground floor, accessible via an ancient, original stone staircase, there are three romantic bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are double, and one has two single beds. The bathroom of one of the double bedrooms is located in a lovely attic accessible via a wooden staircase. The house features a wonderful portico overlooking unspoiled nature, where in the evening it is not uncommon to spot foxes, roe deer, owls, and many other animals native to the area. The portico is furnished with a dining table and armchairs. There is also a large, well-lit parking area on the property.

Montopoli is an ancient village in Tuscany that preserves many medieval buildings. Montopoli in Valdarno and its castle—which Boccaccio himself described as "illustrious"—were first mentioned in 1017, but recent excavations have revealed that the site was previously inhabited by the Etruscans and Romans. Walking along the town’s high street, you can see Castruccio’s Tower and Arch, and, in front of City Hall, the beautiful Belvedere terrace, from which you can enjoy a marvellous view of the still-intact tower of San Matteo. There is a municipal museum where Etruscan and medieval artefacts are on display, as well as a significant section dedicated to ceramics, particularly the renowned terracotta pieces from Montopoli, which have been exported all over the world. The town also features many religious buildings, some of which are adorned with important paintings.
