Failte Ireland Approved Traditional Self Catering Cottages a moment’s walk from the sea, “The Moor” and “The Rock” are two charming 2‑bed Irish cottages, fully equipped for your stay and featuring secure rear areas so your dog can safely join you on holiday. Guests enjoy modern comforts throughout while relaxing in an authentic, traditional Irish setting beside the Donegal coast.



Both cottages are just a minute’s stroll to beautiful Creevy Pier, where you can enjoy sea swimming, fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, coastal walks and more, all within sight and sound of the ocean. Rossnowlagh’s Blue Flag Beach and historic Ballyshannon are only a 5‑minute drive away, with Donegal Town and the vibrant resort of Bundoran and its beach reachable in around 15 minutes.

Excellent host, great communication. Cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Has more than you need. Everything is high quality. Appliances are good brands and all in good condition. Location is close enough to towns so there is plenty of good shops and restaurants yet the cottage is in a quiet natural environment. We woke up to birds singing.

The instructions were great, and although finding the home was tricky, the outside photo and sign provided a way for us to confirm we were at the right spot. We loved walking down to the pier for sunset, too!

Highly recommend this cottage

Our goal was to have a base location for 4 adults to explore Donegal and Northern Ireland. We were very happy to find the Creevy Cottage to be such a beautiful and well appointed house. The cottage was exceptionally clean and in near new condition. The location suited us well as it offered privacy and quiet while being a short drive from pubs, restaurants and shopping. And a bonus was the beautiful cove that was just a short walk from the cottage. We would not hesitate to stay here again or give a strong recommendation to anyone interested in staying here.

We had the most amazing stay at the Creevy Cottages! We were looking for a relaxing place to stay after our visit to Dublin and the accommodations were just that and much more! We enjoyed swimming off the pier each afternoon which was walkable from the cottage and taking in the beautiful views and sunset each night. Cows grazed in the yard behind the cottage in the evening dusk hours which was delightful. Morning breakfast and coffee on the back patio made for a great start to our days. Easy drive into town and beautiful beaches nearbye! We lucked out with amazing weather. Hope to come back again and stay at this precious place!

We are just a 5 minute drive from Rossnowlagh, Donegal’s famous ‘Blue Flag Beach’, 5 minutes drive to BallyShannon home of The Rory Gallagher Festival, 15minutes to Bundoran’s many beaches and entertainment venues or 20 minutes to the historic Donegal Town it’s the perfect location to base yourself on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Enjoy walking, fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, golf, beaches, horse riding, petting farms, family / night life then you’re either a short stroll or short drive from anything you want to do.
