About this property

Welcome to Casa Ona, a cosy townhouse in a quiet residential area of Los Alcázares. Casa Ona is situated 500m from Playa Manzanares, one of several safe, sandy beaches making up 7km of beach along the Mar Menor. It is also a short walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, parks, and bars. Nearby, aside from the 7km of safe, sandy beaches and the 5km promenade, are several parks including children’s play areas, local shops, cafes, and each Tuesday there is a local market at the end of the road. There are also several large supermarkets including Aldi, Lidl, and Mercadona. Close by is a municipal pool (indoor & outdoor) in case you want a change from the beach. Los Alcázares has many excellent restaurants, and is also home to the largest urban art museum in Europe, a map of which can be obtained from the tourist information office.

A little further away are the cities of Cartagena and Murcia both offering culture and history, shopping, and more. Wild flamingos can be seen in the pink lakes at nearby San Pedro de Pinatar, and don’t miss the mud baths at Las Charcas.

Bilan mitigé

Le bien correspond à la description et bien équipé, il manque la climatisation au rez de chaussée. Le bien est bien situé dans la ville, proche de la plage et dès commodités. Attention à l’un des voisins qui est bruyant de nuit comme de jour ( cri d’enfant, disputes d’adultes, bruit de chaises, d’escalier, etc…) avec un vis à vis sur leur cour pas entretenue. Nous avons subi un désagrément pendant notre séjour, une coupure de réseau internet pendant une semaine.

We are a family from the UK, that loves the Spanish culture, we holiday there every year. The house is in a typically Spanish part of town. We are both in the education industry and love the holidays.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property because of location it is in a quiet part of town but only 5 mins walk from the busier parts and the beach. It is ideally located for a couple or a family to use as a base. you have the beach 5 mins away, you have the town centre 5 mins away and then you have the busy 525 just a 10 min walk away. There is parking in the street which makes it perfect to explore the region

What makes this property unique

This property has 2 outside areas a court yard if you want to be left alone or a large patio to the front they both have outside furniture. The courtyard has its own toilet and shower.
