Great getaway in Chelsea

We enjoyed having the experience of living in a residential area with a tube station close by. The small kitchen was totally fine for our needs- although there were a few dirty dishes left upon our arrival. Comfortable bed, good wifi, lots of hot water available. The only thing to be aware of is that we got quite a surprise when we first arrived around 9:30 pm, unlocked the door and put our handbags down including the key, went back outside to get our luggage which was on the sidewalk, up a set of stairs and the front door locked as soon as the door swung shut by itself and we found ourselves stranded in the dark and light rain. Fortunately we had a phone in a picket so we were able to communicate via WhatsApp and someone responded within 20 mins and was helpful. We grabbed a taxi to pick up a second set of keys at the pickup point. We never left the flat without keys after that!

Chelsea flat

Terrific location, just minutes from South Kensington station. Flat was clean and comfortable. Internet instructions provided by the property manager need to be updated, and the TV is located in the bedroom and works sporadically. Otherwise a great spot for a London holiday.

Great location

The location is fantastic, 3 minute walking from South Kensington Station. The flat is fine but neither bathroom nor kitchen had ventilation, there are only two windows, in the bedroom and a locked one in the living room. To gain proper ventilation we had to open the street door and the bedroom, so it isn’t comfortable to gain clean air. There is a storage room next to the kitchen that was a mess and there aren’t enough cutlery. This observations are very easily correctable. The manager was friendly and solved all our enquires.
