Great find, clean and cozy with everything that is needed for a short stay. Pheasants Lodge is wonderfully peaceful, beautiful bird songs and even hares boxing in the field opposite. Feels like a million miles away but actually just off the A2. Makes it easy to nip to the shops or to Bridge for pubs and grub. Thorougjly recommend staying here. The host is friendly and helpful.

Two of us plus our dog stayed for 3 nights. Nice quiet, isolated location with dog walks available from the place. Decently equipped so easy to cook at the premises. Great location for trips to Kent sites, e.g. Canterbury, Dover Castle…

Good walks
Nice house. Good location for walking. The turn for Lleden Lane from the A2 is a surprise for the Dutch. You have to reduce speed in a very short time. Also to get on the A2. We are not used to that, so it was a challenge;)

Thank you Quinn for being a great guest at Pheasants Lodge. We are glad you enjoyed your time away and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Best Wishes Bloom Stays
My wife and I had a wonderful time at Pheasant Lodge in glorious sunshine. The house is very well furnished and has everything you need as a guest. It is very quietly situated in the hinterland, but you can quickly drive to the most beautiful places and castles in Kent and to the wonderful hiking trails in the Kent Downs and at Saxon Shoreway by the sea. There are lovely pubs and typical restaurants everywhere nearby and we found the people very, very friendly without exception. We will certainly be back. A big "Thank you!" also to Anne, who is very friendly and humorous host, always approachable and quick to answer all our questions.

Perfectly quaint lodge nestled away in the countryside
Pheasant Lodge is a perfectly quaint lodge, hidden away just off of the A2. The location is absolute bliss for people seeking the peace and quiet of the countryside, with ample walks just steps from the front door (including the North Downs Way). Inside, the decor is a fairly traditional cottage style and exceptionally clean. The bed is large and comfy, the water hot, the heating effective. Anne is also a very friendly welcoming host. If I could make any suggestions it would be an improved WiFi, which I was using to work from and struggled to make teams calls, and a smart tv. That aside, it really is a lovely place to get away from it all.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, Kirsty. We are happy to hear that you had a lovely stay at the property. Thank you for being a great guest and we will look forward to welcoming you back soon. Best wishes, Bloom Stays
The property is cosy and, although near the A2, it's located in a peaceful area.
There is a septic tank that we weren't aware of prior to arrival but as long as you are careful with what goes down the drain this isn't an issue.
There are plenty of walks on the doorstep and the clear sky at night is to be enjoyed.
The road entrance can easily be missed so slow down early.
Overall we had a pleasant stay but I'd say it's a bit expensive for what it is.
