Description:
Charming and comfortable apartment recently renovated and decorated.
Beautiful views of the Islands, the sea, the Ria Formosa, the old town and the river.
The apartment is located in the center of Tavira in a quiet cul-de-sac, with all facilities just a few steps away.
Restaurants, cafes, shops, markets, ferry to Ilha de Tavira and everything this charming city has to offer.
There are various wonderful beaches to choose from.
2nd (and last) floor without elevator.

The space:
Spacious Apartment with 2 bedrooms (Large beds 180 x 200 cm, one of which can be converted into two single beds) + 1 bedroom converted into an office with a large sofa bed (140 x 205 cm), all with A/C.
Large living room with TV and a nice "hammock".
Private south facing balcony with beautiful views to the Islands, Ria Formosa, city, river and a little sea.
Second private balcony facing north, pleasantly cool for hot summer days.
Large roof terrace (common, but rarely used :) ) with beautiful views of the Islands, sea, Ria Formosa, old town and the river, with private access via stairs from the living room.
Wifi - glass fiber - included.
2 bathrooms (1 en suite).
Large fully equipped kitchen.
Free parking next to the building.
Baby equipment available (bathtub, crib and high chair for baby).
Heating available.
Small grocery store selling local products "just around the corner" and a park with swings for the little ones.

There are various wonderful beaches to choose from. With the ferry (which is a 10-minute walk from the apt.) you can reach, for example, in a short time Tavira Island (beach of Ilha de Tavira, beach of Terra Estreita, beach of Barril). On foot, by bike or by car, you can reach Tesos beach in front of the city (2.5 km from the apt.). Other beautiful beaches, such as Praia de Cacela Velha and Praia da Fábrica (10 km from the apt.), are accessible by bicycle or car.

Tavira Magic

We traveled to Portugal to visit the lovely Tavira and elected to stay in this very nicely decorated and comfortable apartment. From the very beginning the host was easy to communicate with and provided any information I requested. The accessibility of having not one but two verandas really made this apartment special as being outside to catch the breeze coming across the river basin was priceless! The apartment is an easy walk to the main section of town and a 12 minute walk to the train station Porta Nova. The only downside is the two flights of stairs to climb after a day of adventure exploring the area! We loved it!!

Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Betten sind groß und bequem und im Wohnzimmer gibt es sogar eine Hängematte! Große Küche mit allem was man braucht. Schnelles Internet. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Lage ist ideal, kleiner Lebensmittelladen direkt an der Ecke, 5 min weiter ein Supermarkt. Restaurants, Cafés, Spielplatz alles in direkter Umgebung, zum zentralen Platz von Tavira ist es nur ein kurzer Spaziergang. Weiteres Plus sind die kostenlosen Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus.

Ein Traum!

Die Wohnung ist hell und großzügig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die beiden Balkone haben wir oft genutzt, vom Südbalkon hat man einen sehr schönen Ausblick Richtung Inseln und Altstadt. Das Sahnehäubchen ist aber die Dachterasse, ideal für die tollen Sonnenuntergänge über Tavira. Emma ist sympathisch und hilfsbereit und hat uns gut betreut. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Casa Lomila sehr genossen und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!
