Fantastic location, comfortable house, all that you need for your holiday in Tavira.

Newly renovated and furnished in July 2015.
2 bedroom townhouse located on the riverfront of Tavira town with restaurants, bars, shops and the ferry to Tavira Island within walking distance.

Fully equipped kitchen, A/C in both bedrooms and living room, cable Tv with 100 channels and good reliable wi-fi service.

2 terraces with gorgeous views of Tavira town center.

Plenty of free parking on street ( 500 meters from the house), and good public transports ( trains and busses), for those who do not wish to hire a car.


The property is managed by Casa Serviço - a family company with office in Tavira, since 1989.

Casa Serviço can also arrange for airport transfers.

We loved our beautiful apartment in Tavira. Spent a lot of time on the fabulous lower deck, watching the Easter parades and all the people walking by, some dancing by to the accordion player (He needs to get a longer repetoire). We found it a bit noisy at night with people (not restaurant goers) but still sitting on the chairs at the tables talking loudly. The restaurant should put a sign up, "For patrons only." Cannot say anything negative about this apartment, really. Could have a more comfortable living room couch, but beds were very comfortable. We just loved staying there. Thanks to the cleaning ladies who did a marvelous job every Wednesday while we were out. Thank-you. A

The apartment is great, just as shown in the photos, and equipped with everthing you need. Communications and check in with Casa Serviço was perfect too. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful position.

Great apartment. Wonderful view of the Roman Bridge. Great for people watching. Well equipped, and central to all of Tavira. Noisy some times at night, as bedroom window was next to a small passagway. Great holiday. Beautiful setting.

Great Location on the Rio Gilao

Everything in Tavira was not more than a 15 minute walk. Property was as advertised and Emma and Anna the agents were wonderful. Only negative was the noise as late night partiers were leaving the nearby pub and bars. The view of the river and Roman bridge sitting on the patio made up for that. Entertaining

This will be a repeat location. After expecting a noisy finish to the day we were not disappointed. Expecting it and being surprised by it are two different things. The next 6 nights we slept like babies, used to it. What a beautiful place and location. It’s our Portugal FAVORITE vacay for the future. Just it’s really hard to get!!!

Great location

The apartment is located right by the river and the roman bridge, which makes it ideal to walk the old town. The beds are comfortable, the wifi works well inside, but not on the balconies. We used the two balconies often We had lunch there almost every day. The only inconvenience is the very small fridge and the lack of an oven. It was noisy on a few evenings but overall it was not a problem

Pros - Location beautiful. Central and pretty. Interesting. Kitchen very well equipped. Comfortable. Cool even on hot day. Cons - Lots of street, bar and bridge noise sometimes all night. There was unfortunately construcion across from us but manager responded appropriately.

Best view perfect location. Great layout with two rooms onto entrance street, living room and twin room. Noisy at times but to be expected with location. Main be bedroom, shower room and kitchen with outside terrace onto River just parfect. Birds visit at low tide and nice breeze down river on hot evenings. Upper terrace views over rooftops, very hot and not used due to heatwave on our visit. Emma answered questions quickly and sorted transfers. Would love to visit again. Sue

Great location….everything within walking distance…no need for a vehicle.

Central location comes with daytime, and evening noise. Noise from people passing by, restaurants in the immediate area and construction nearby could be heard in the front of the unit (living room and second bedroom). Front of the unit (master bedroom, kitchen, and decks) were relatively quiet. We would recommend this unit for 2 guests. The positives of the location, and the view from the decks, far outweighs any noise issues. Anna, the unit manager was great. She gave us a good overview of what was in the immediate area.

Off season Stay

I spent a week here in November when Tavira is generally quiet. Emma, the host, is exceptional. So friendly and helpfull, with lots of useful tips on good places to eat etc. The property is great and has all you need, except maybe, TV viewing is a bit limited (for a UK viewer) and the couch isn't the most comfortable. OK I'm being picky now!The location is superb! It was great sitting out on the terrace people watching going over the bridge. There was music playing from a nearby bar which I didn't mind but may bother some. It didn't go on till late, but I don't know what it would be like in the hight of the season. The roof terrace would be fantastic and relatively private but given the time of year I didn't have the opportunity to use it. I would definately consider returning to this property.

Perfect accommodation in a beautiful city.

This accommodation certainly is the best location in town. We couldn't have asked for a better location, right in the heart of the city with everything on your doorstep. This perfect little property has everything you need for your stay in Tavira. It is immaculately clean. The beds are very comfortable with air con in both rooms as well as the living-room. The best bit is the main terrace looking over the Roman bridge, it's just beautiful. Perfect people watching spot whilst taking in the sights and sounds of Tavira and having a glass or 2 of wine. The private roof terrace upstairs is great if you like to do a bit of sunbathing. Emma the owner is such a lovely girl and nothing is a hassle. Communication was fab and anything you need or need to know, she is there to help. All in all we would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully my husband and I will return in the near future.

Best location in Tavira

Beautiful spotlessly clean property set right on the river and next to the ancient bridge so you can people watch all day and night if you like. Well fitted out and we made good use of the parasols and beach towels that Emma the property manager provided for us. We were met at the property on arrival, just phone Emma when you are leaving the airport. This was our second visit to this property and we would highly recommend it. We will return without question.

Gerieflijk appartement, centrale ligging in historische stad

Wij kozen dit appartement vlak bij de historische brug Ponte Romana in een gezellige wijk van Tavira en hadden er een fijn verblijf. De woning is gerieflijk en smaakvol ingericht met o.m een goed uitgeruste keuken en we konden heerlijk luieren op de tertassen. Ook veel horeca in de directe omgeving.

Great holiday!

Our flight into Faro was very early and our departure flight was very late, but Emma contacted us before we left the UK to say we could check in as early as we liked and we could check out as late as we liked. Superb! Emma met us on our arrival at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know. We had a great stay at this superbly located, simple villa which had everything we needed. We will not hesitate to book again when we next plan to holiday in Tavira.
