A Portuguese-Moorish-style holiday home in the old town of Tavira, located within the old town walls—central yet quiet, authentic, and comfortable. Built in 1988, it was completely renovated in 2006. With electric heating, it is warm and liveable year-round. Owned and managed by a German organisation on the hotel premises.
House is located on a small alley in a typical Portuguese town with bustling squares, about 30 churches from every era, a castle with old city walls, characteristic hip-roofed houses, and ornate chimneys. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the city centre and the shops. Almost all shops, restaurants, bars, etc., are within walking distance, but Hauus is located on a quiet street.
Kilometres of sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters, about 2 kilometres away, and many golf courses in the area. Shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. In Tavira, history awaits you at every turn. This “City Museum” is located in southern Portugal in the Eastern Algarve, in Sotavento (the leeward side), about 25 kilometres from Andalusia; With 3,400 hours of sunshine per year, Tavira doesn’t have mass tourism and isn’t all homogenized—it’s very authentic.


Location and character of the house: The “LALULEVA” house is located on a quiet street in the old town and within walking distance of many historic buildings, restaurants, bars, shops, and other attractions. It has been lovingly restored and exudes its own unique charm through its profusion of blooming bougainvillea. The house has direct access from the living room to a patio filled with potted plants, a
-lit deep well, small trickling fountains, a stone bench, and, of course, outdoor furniture including a table and four adjustable lounge chairs in the seating area / Sun.

Two floors up, the house has a very nice table and 4 chairs/lounge chairs on a furnished rooftop terrace with a wonderful view of the churches, the castle, and the entire city and surrounding area; at night, the battlements are illuminated. Both terraces are idyllic spots for unforgettable moments! In addition to the rooftop terrace, there is a storage room with a drink fridge...

The house is only partially accessible for people with disabilities. We recommend the neighbouring villa, “Fonte dos Mouros,” which features wheelchair-accessible facilities.
