Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 6 in 3 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access

Welcome to Walkers' Way - A lovely cottage - really close to The Bay Filey holiday village centre - metres from the pub yet quiet and with a large garden and patio and right on the access to the Cleveland Way this is an ideal choice for a family escape and a Walkers' paradise! (please note this property was Fudges Den prior to the new owners changing its name recently)

Enter into a spacious hallway, with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead to the right is a large BRAND NEW kitchen diner / lounge with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break. There is an excellent dining space in the kitchen, with extended dining table seating 6 with French doors to the patio, and 2 large comfortable sofas. Across the hall there is a WC.

Free unlimited fast wifi throughout.

Upstairs, you will find three double bedrooms with the master having a shower room ensuite. There is also a very spacious family bathroom with bath and shower over. The bathroom was replaced fully in February 2025.

Walkers' Way is a large pet friendly house and is ideal for a large family with space for 2 doggies!

Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Walkers Away Stay.

The accommodation was excellent and the house was very well equipped. The size of the property was impressive and our party of 4 adults 2 children and the 2 dogs never felt under each other's feet.

Family weekend

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend away staying at Walkers Way.From the moment we stepped through the door, the property was warm, and exceptionally clean. It met all of our needs, and the kitchen equipment was second to none, “it’s the best one yet” (we have been using The Bay for many years)

A long weekend break in Fudges Den on The Bay

The property is extremely well equipped throughout. In an excellent location on The Bay The beautiful beach is only only a short walk away giving the the option to walk to Filey. We will be back !!!

First visit to The Bay

The Bay is very clean and tidy. Walkers Way was good and close to the site amenities. Equipment in the cottage is fine, three double beds are comfortable, we needed the heating on cos weather was chilly, no problem. Booked to come to The Bay in a few weeks.

Perfect Family Property

Our family of four stayed at Fudges Den end of July for our summer holiday and could not have chosen a more perfect property. The cottage is located in the ideal location close to all amenities and a short walk to the path which leads down to the beach. The property has everything you need for a long or short stay with plenty of kitchen utensils and cutlery which made cooking like you were at home. There was so much room that we never got under each others feet and the kids (and myself) loved the lounge area with the big rotating chair. We wouldn’t hesitate in booking Fudges Den again for our next family holiday.

Easter Break

Lovely accommodation, very clean, spotless although a little worn here and there. House was great and big enough for all 5 of us. Kitchen full of utensils and very clean oven. Love where it was close to the beach, we had great weather so spent most of the weekend there. Used the pub for meals but was a bit expensive and food just ok. Customer service was excellent and kept us informed from the moment we booked. Will be booking again. .

Second stay

Fudge's Den is a great property close to the Leisure Centre and dog walking on the Meadow. It's very well equipped with cooking utensils etc although we couldn't find any kitchen scissors and the knives are all totally blunt - but I find that everywhere. The living/dining/kitchen area is spacious and TV has a mystifying amount of options. My only gripe about this great little house is that its a real squeeze to get into the en suite bathroom - and I am not a large person! The bottom of the shower door needs a good clean but aside from that we like Fudges Den and we came back for a second stay even though the repeat code didn't work. The downside last week was that the Leisure Centre closed at 16.00 every day and was also closed for lunch - it would have been nice to know that in advance but we worked around it.
