Lovely ground floor apartment close to transportation from/to the airport, and around London. Easy walking to grocery and several restaurants. We would consider staying here again on a future trip to London.
We enjoyed our holiday in this flat, with a 5-minute walk to the Tube station and good grocery store nearby. Jorge was very responsive to our questions and requests.
Loved this property and everything about it. Jorge was fantastic to deal with and very responsive to any questions/enquiries. The apartment was exactly as advertised - beautifully decorated and well appointed. Location was ideal - 5 min. walk from the underground on a lovely street. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was very comfortable for two adults. Well appointed with mid century modern furniture and lovely decor. Bedding could have been a bit higher quality but was fine and the towels were excellent. The location is away from central London but close to a Tube station so easy to getMost anywhere. It was very quiet and an excellent Pub was right across the street. We ate there three times in six days! A fancy food market and a modestly priced food market are a few blocks away.
Good ground floor flat, great location, a part of london i dont know well. Easy transport by bus and tube. Minor critism finishings in kitchen and bathroom getting a little tired, instructions about appliances, esp washing machine would have been helpful, but i would be very happy to return
The apartment is centrally located fo a lot of great attractions and Ferrington Station is a 5 min walk away making getting around easy. Clerkenwell is a great little neighbourhood with groceries, restaurants and great pubs all within easy walking distance. The apartment was equipped with all of the essentials needed for acomfortable stay. We found the area to be quiet even with the pubs in the vicinity. The property owners were very responsive to any inquiries or help we needed with the apartment (took me a minute to figure out the hot water). The only thing to be mindful of is the shower as it is a little tricky getting in and out and for some individuals with mobility issues, they may have difficulties doing so.Over all, a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.
We spent the month of June here. What a treat, what a gift. Nestled in the back roads of Clerkenwell away from the main thoroughfares. Full of charm. Full of light. All the convenience that being in Clerkenwell provides plus a very distinctive locale in a genuinely lovely flat.
Overall,we had a good experience at 5 Clerkenwell Close. The location is very good and easy transportation via underground and buses across the city and beyond, and proximity to Elizabeth Line makes for easy transportation from Heathrow. Several simple restaurants close by and a very good grocery store 3 blocks away.
The apartment was mostly as pictured on the interior, with comfortable furnishings and a full kitchen. The outside scruffy back and front as no one had swept up or cut back waist-high weeds one must traverse to reach trash bins. Proximity to 2 pubs was fine for us, but some might be bothered by noise of pub-goers on the street until closing at 11pm.
Kitchen and bath furnishings adequate though a puzzling lack of drinking glasses (1) in favor of fancy stem ware (6). Towels were sparse, especially after our mid-stay cleaning when the bath rug was removed and absence of rubber mat meant using one of the small towels (2) for the floor and one in the quite slippery tub. No instructions in flat about how to operate things like the washer/dryer or tips about the neighborhood which would have been helpful.
Overall 4 stars.
When planning our trip to London, I was having a really hard time picking out a place to stay. Jorge's flat seemed to check all the boxes for what I was seeking, so although it only had one review (albeit a glowing one), I decided to go for it. Boy, was I ever glad that I did! Jorge was super communicative right from the start, and answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. The flat itself was just perfect - you just cannot beat its location, in a lovely little neighborhood and within a 5-10 minute walk to anything you might want or need. There were several wonderful pubs, some great restaurants & cafes, a delicious curry house, a noodle shop, and a couple of excellent markets (a Tesco & a Waitrose) ranging from just steps to a block or two away from the front door. And for transportation, there is a main tube station with access to the Circle, Hammersmith, and Metropolitan lines, as well as the new Elizabeth line, within a short walk. There is also a bus stop across the road. The flat itself is ground level, and was so well-appointed and comfortable! The bed is super comfy - I'd give it a "Goldilocks" rating: not too firm, not too soft, just right. The décor is just as shown in the pictures, very contemporary and stylish. Check-in and check-out were so easy, and Jorge was wonderfully accommodating with our request for early check-in, which was awesome to not have to cart our bags around with us all day after our overnight flight arrived. Overall, we really enjoyed our week in London, and would totally stay here again on our next visit! Thank you, Jorge! :)
