About this property

Hilltop View with Hot Tub

Our stunning Barn conversion coupled with the neighbouring annex sleeps up to 10 guests and is set within the beautiful Welsh countryside. Surrounded by rolling hills and endless views, our property is the perfect location for family gatherings, special occasions and for those looking to immerse themselves in peace and tranquility.

Brecon Barn boasts 3 generous bedrooms – 1 super-king-size with a balcony and en-suite, and two doubles with a Jack and Jill shower room – as well as annex that can sleep an additional 4 guests.

Barely a minute will have passed before the bright lights of your home city begin fading into insignificance and you find yourself totally enchanted by this beautifully remote barn conversion in the Brecon Beacons. From crumbling castle ruins to waterfall-splashed valleys, heather-cloaked hillsides to untouched mountain plateaus and some of the most forget-me-not views anywhere in the UK, this piece of paradise near Sennybridge really is an unforgettable escape.

With an aga-equipped kitchen to impress the chefs, an open-plan layout for some magical family time, terraces, balconies, enclosed gardens and a hot tub that’s perfect for popping bottles beneath the stars, this is a luxury retreat that you’ll never forget — and it sleeps up to ten people oh-so-comfortably.

From the rolling hills surrounding you to the four-person annex right outside, to the reduced carbon footprint of this renovated barn, get ready for the perfect
amount of peace, quiet and tranquility.

Memories worth making;

Walks: Hiding on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, you only need to lace up, step outside and pick a direction to experience a soul-stirring stroll with the finest scenery in southern Wales. High mountain plateaus of grass and heather, glacier-scoured hollows, waterfall-splashed valleys, enchanted woodland walks and a plethora of rural landscapes waiting to make you swoon.

Experiences: Whether you’ve packed your hiking boots for the hike of a lifetime or you’ve always dreamed of a horseback tack through the wilderness, this place was made for doorstep adventures:

Explore Underground: Just 15-minutes southwest of Brecon sits Dan yr Ogof, a 17-kilometre long cave system where stalactites and stalagmites cling to the rock and atmospheric lighting adds to the ethereal experience.

Horseback Adventure: Not far away is Cantref Riding Centre, the only place licenced to take Pony Treks up on to the main peaks of the Brecon Beacons where you can soak up the spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons National Park from the unique vantage point in the saddle.

Hiking Heaven: As far as hikes go, nothing can quite compare to a sunrise start as you take on the highest, most famous peak in South Wales, Pen y Fan. With uninterrupted views over the Neuadd Valley and the reservoirs near Merthyr Tydfil, this is a mountain worth climbing during your stay.

Fine Dining: Whether you want to earn your pub lunch with a three-mile hike over the hills or you’d prefer a lazy stroll through Sennybridge, you have a choice of charming pubs dotted around you in almost every direction.

The famous Pen y Fan is a 30 minute drive away, with uninterrupted views over the Neuadd Valley and the reservoirs near Merthyr Tydfil and perfect for hikers or ramblers. The local town of Sennybridge is a 10 minute drive away but there is a pub just 20 minute walk away from the barn so not far to go if you fancy a meal out.
