My husband and I bought Toad's Pad about thirty years ago since when it has been the most magnificent family holiday home. Our three daughters were able to spend all school holidays there, learning to sail and water-ski. As they grew up, the apartment was always full of their friends, and they were able to work in the holidays at the Yacht Club and local pubs, as well as enjoying all Salcombe has to offer. Great fun for all ages.
Now the girls are married, their own children are enjoying Salcombe on the beach and on the quay crabbing. In a few years they too will be learning to water ski and sail.
In the meantime, Robert and I can enjoy the town and water out of school holidays when the weather is often gorgeous and the pubs and restaurants are quieter.

Why they chose this property
The property is unique in so much a it is in the middle of the action, and it is possible to walk everywhere and enjoy Salcombe at its best. Parking however is available free with the property a short walk away.
Children who have to be continually supervised at home, have the opportunity in Salcombe to gain confidence, buying the bread, fetching the newspaper, queueing for pizzas etc.
