No air conditioning, awkward hallway-shaped space
I had to manage to different places to "check in" as no one met me at the property. Once I got in it was hot and humid and I could not figure out how to adjust the thermostat. The manager - via WhatsApp messages - was directing me to the wall to find the thermostat to turn it on. We had a call and I explained that I found it, but did not see dials or knobs. Within a few minutes the person on the phone who believed it did have air conditioned texted me to say that he found out it does not have air conditioning, but there are plenty of fans to use. I did not understand this from the ad and their staff also did not understand it.
It was miserable in there and I had to move to a hotel without unpacking. I was in Madrid for 10 days and they refused to refund any part of my price paid so I ate the entire amount. VRBO also did not help. It was a very poor experience. It does not make any sense to provide a credit card to VRBO only to have to provide it to a 3rd party later - there is no protection for situations like this in that case. I do not recommend this place at all.
