“LATINA SOL ” (street Estudios 5, 28012 Madrid) has 5 people capacity on a 3rd floor with lift. The gorgeous flat (60 square meters) is very bright where every room has a window. The apartment “LATINA SOL” is decorated in elegant colours to make the atmosphere more enjoyable. This apartment is exceptionally restful and functional with free wifi internet and air conditioning/heating. The entrance hall leads into a living /dining area with a window. It is furnished with one 3-seater sofa, a shelving with LCD TV, DVD and a wooden dining table. There are two bedrooms: 1 double (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 2.00m) and 1 double (2 single beds 0.90m x 1.90m). The living room has a sofa-bed up for 1people. There is a bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer. The kitchen modern and functional is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, 4-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing/dryer machine. As a small household-electric we can emphasize, iron, cooker, water boiler, coffee machine, toaster, teapot, glasswork and dishes.

Great location!

It was great location, a bit noisy but just use ear plugs to sleep. Near Plaza Mayor, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

We had an amazing time, the location was PERFECT! Right in the heart of Madrid, close to shopping, restaurants, and all the sights. The AC in each bedroom and the living space was crucial during the heatwave this summer. The host was extremely responsive and helpful, if we ever come back to Madrid, we would definitely book this apartment!

Perfect location in the wonderful La Latina neighborhood of Madrid. The apartment is warm, comfortable, inviting and there is an elevator in the building! Helena made the check-in process smooth and easy. We loved our stay at Latina Sol and we will always cherish our time in Madrid.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. Sylvia met us at the apartment, giving us our keys and answered any questions we had. Apartment was in a great location, has a lift and plenty of hot water in the shower. Easily walk to many attractions. Great restaurants nearby, and grocery store a little over a block away. There is some street & neighbor noise, but not a problem. I always bring earplugs. The living area is a little tight, perfect for 2 people. Would be happy to stay again!

Could not have asked for a better location!

The highlight of the apartment was its perfect location - so close to a slew of great tapas bars in La Latina, just a few blocks to Plaza Mayor, very convenient to two metro stops and an easy walk to most of the sites we visited in Madrid. We really could not have hoped for more convenience! We really appreciated that Sol, the apartment manager, was able to accommodate our early morning arrival and met us at the apartment well before the designated check in time. She helpfully reviewed with us all the features of the apartment and marked up some maps to help us find our bearings. The apartment itself was well appointed. It was small but worked well for the two of us. The elevator was a nice feature with our suitcases. Air conditioning worked very well, which was important during a hot week. Bathroom featured plenty of hot water and nice water pressure. The bed in the main room was comfortable. Though the apartment is in a busy area, it is on a side street and so offers a quieter atmosphere. We had no problems with noise. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Unit is small/compact but well planned and clean. Beds were comfortable, Wi-Fi and AC were strong. Only complaint isn't the fault of the property management, but the person in the unit above was practicing guitar for many, many hours, including late at night (and not very good).

Unresponsive owner and dirty apartment

Carmen did not greet us at the apartment, but sent another representative, Sylvia to greet us. She basically gave us the keys and took off as quickly as she could. We did not get any information about the area or restaurants. The apartment is in a great location and is a good size for a family. However, there are many issues with the apartment and we had to leave a day early. Carmen has not responded to my emails asking for a refund for the last night. Here are the issues with the apartment: The couch is broken and filthy with many stains. The bench to sit on for meals is wobbly and filthy with many stains. The duvets are stained as well as the pillow cases. There are no sheets in the apartment for the couch, which we were planning on using. However, it is so uncomfortable due to all the broken springs we did not. The neighbors above the apartment are so loud at all hours of the night (3-5 a.m.) we could not sleep. There is only one dish towel in the kitchen. The shower doors do not close completely so the water flows all over the floor but there are no extra towels to clean it up with. The bathroom sink is not attached to vanity and falls off regularly. There are many lights out or do not work (over the stove).

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a great location. We walked everywhere. Also close to great restaurants, squares and shopping. The apartment is beautifully decorated and super clean. The only downside it was smaller than I had expected: Also our host was very friendly and helpful. She even arranged the taxi to pick us up on our last day! I highly recommend and would stay there again.
