Short but Sweet

It was a very short stay with family before they flew back to the US. It was a great location to get a sense of Lisbon in a limited amount of time. It is an attractive, spacious, and comfortable apartment close to the action but not noisy.

We loved the actual place. Windows all around to let the breeze in. Very loud though. No broom to sweep up. Zero communication when i messaged through Expedia and vrbo apps... not even an email to say how to enter the space. But mom loved the space.. so I'll still give it 4 stars... barely. No closer place to the cruise ship though, so that is a plus

Good apartment with terrible after-experience

Situated in a nice neighbourhood, the apartment is comfortable due to its 2 separate bathroom-bedrooms and bright living room. We were charged 2 weeks after check out for a 6 soap dispenser cracking, which we knew for sure was not our fault. Petty procedure and for me incomprehensible communication about this. I will never choose them again.

We paid more than usual for this apartment because it said there were 2 queen beds. It has 1 queen and 1 double. The double is in a room that is so small, you have to crawl over the 2nd person in bed to get in and out. Had to put luggage in livingroom. There is also not enough comfortable seating in the livingroom (a very small couch; not the one pictured) & kitchen table/chairs. Stand up shower area is extremely small about 18x18 and the door is narrow. Not for anyone the least bit overweight. No balcony for coffee as described. Horrible communication w/owner. Was not ready for our check-in despite earlier messages. No toiletries and had to buy our own toilet paper. Kitchen lacked supplies & can fit only 1 person at a time. "Short flight of stairs" is actually 25 stairs. Not flexible with check-in time. Offered outside luggage storage at additional fee. Blamed check-in issues on VRBO's messaging.

Lovely clean and beautiful space overlooking center of Alfama!

It's very safe, comfortable and homey. I love being right in the center! So convenient to everything we want to see and visit. Loads of restaurants, mercados, ATMs, shops, taxis everything within steps. Management company very helpful and accommodating. Couldn't have found a better place. Safe for two girls traveling alone. My husband arrives today. Excited for him to see stay here too!
